I love this leash! I adapted it to suit my needs by folding part of it over and sewing to create a handle where I needed one. It’s nice and thin, and I love that it has a small built in pouch for poop bags! I can’t wait for new colors to come out because the color is the only thing I’m not 100% thrilled about.

This is a safety net for me. I don't use it every day. I live next to a road and I walk my dog 3 times a day. I love him dearly and I couldn't stand it if something happened to him. I sometimes have vertigo in the morning when I wake up. It makes me nervous to walk him by myself on those mornings because I'm afraid I'll get dizzy and fall and he will get away from me and into the road or something. I bought this so that, if I'm having one of those mornings and I'm nervous, I can attach this to the two of us as kind of a safety net. I have his normal leash and harness, but this is also around my waist and attached to his harness. This leash is ever-so-slightly shorter than his normal leash, but it's okay. It's serving the purpose which was to give me a little peace of mind on those unsteady mornings.

I love Ruffwear usually, and I know they kinda cater to that “lifestyle” outdoors hiking crowd, but this particular leash I feel like maybe it missed the mark a little bit? I will give it credit where credit is due, the leash is very cute and I’m sure it will hold up to some duress. But the leash material itself is incredibly thin, and feels like the straps on a backpack. I’m sure this could really mess up your hand if you were trying to control your dog. The locking mechanism as well is a little awkward to unlock compared to other designs. All and all, I’d just honestly maybe thicken the leash material and add more padding to the handle, maybe take another crack at the lock mechanism. And all that at that price point, I just think they need to do a little better…

I have a cattle dog and a husky. the adjustments keeps readjusting itself as soon as they pull even lightly. I barely have them under control if we see a squirrel or bunny. It’s a good leash for extremely well behaved dogs that don’t require training anymore or small dogs that do not pull

great leash! only suggestion i’d have to the company is that, yes it technical it has the same colors as the matching harness BUT when holding it or on dog, because of the colors mixed together it looks more orange in color and doesn’t match. I think it would look better as all green or pink with accents instead of the two colors threaded together!

When anchored around your waist, the leash is really short. My dog ate through the leash when harnessed to a tree with a couple minutes.

Too hard to use the two clasps for arthritic hands. Also, need a barbie sized waist! Oops.

Da anni che uso questo modello della ruffwear. Ora l’hanno cambiato e migliorato ancora. Molto leggero e il moschettone con la sicurezza in chiusura. Materiale leggerissimo e ripiegabile in tasca senza ingombro , per quando in montagna sta libero. Ottima anche l’idea di aggiungerci il posto per il sacchetto. Il miglior guinzaglio sul mercato per me.
Nach kurzer Zeit plus einem Schonwaschgang im Schutzbeutel hat das Material aufgegeben
Eigentlich wegen der guten Qualität von Ruffwear bin ich ziemlich erstaunt, denn die Leine war nicht täglich in Benutzung. Jedoch zeigte sich nach einem Schonwaschgang, dass das Kunstoffteil am Karabiner sich abgelöst hat und die Leine hatte einen Riss der sich jetzt aufribbelt und die Leine unbrauchbar macht.
