I love Kate Spade things. They are always so beautifully well made. These containers are very durable the top is easy to remove. It is a great size for a snack or a small bit of leftovers. I do not put dishes with prints on them in my dishwasher, but hand washing has not had any negative effect on the containers. They say they are dishwasher safe, but I would recommend hand washing the wood lid.

These are cute. That's the one good thing about them. Honestly, I'm shocked Kate Spade and Lennox even made these - I expected better.They are utterly, totally, and complety impractical. You can't microwave them, freeze them, or put them in the dishwasher. The top is bamboo, but the bottom is...melamine? I'm bothered by the fact that I can't say for sure what these are even made of, so why would I put my food in them? The top doesn't latch or anything, so you can't store anything that might spill or be messy, and the inside is oddly textured and some sort of plastic that will likely absorb colors and odors. And again, you can't put it in the microwave, so if you're taking your lunch in this, you can't heat it up. Save your money.

Very cute, nice quality, but mostly decorative designer containers... I don't feel these are really for food as they're not even dishwasher safe and must be hand washed. Also, the space inside, once you put on the rather thick lid, is small and shallow. Maybe good if you're trying to limit your portion size! Not very functional. However, you could still use these in the kitchen for storage of other small, dry items. I'm using them as decoration. A little pricey for what you get here.

This is a gorgeous set of containers for lugging food to work/school. Unfortunately, despite its beauty, it's impractical for many different kinds of foods. The material that the containers is made of isn't glass or ceramic as I'd expect from Lennox, but is made entirely from either wood or bamboo. The container has been sanded mostly smooth and painted, so that on first glance it seems like melamine, but knocking on it produces a solid wood sound.Because it's made of wood, the container is not to be used in the freezer, dishwasher or microwave. And since the lid is made of unsealed bamboo, you can't put leftover pasta in it without ruining and staining the container. So, what can you carry in it? Dry, cold food, reminiscent of the saddest of sad lunches. A salad with no cut veggies and the dressing on the side. A cold sandwich with no mustard. Crackers. Celery sticks. Raisins and trail mix. The limitations on what I can carry in it without it being ruined and the inability to microwave it make it so I can't put 75% of the things I usually have for lunch into this container.There is a silicone seal around the lid that can be easily removed for washing. The lids fit on nice and tight, but again - no hot food.Even though it's quite beautiful, I'm highly disappointed in the limitations on what it can be used for. It's not practical at all.
