We paired this with a bike chain to log a fence gate. It's an extra wide gate we only open when moving the riding mower out of the fenced area, since we have normal sized gates in the yard, too. People kept opening the gate and not latching it properly, and the dogs would get out. Now, nobody can open that gate who doesn't have any business opening it. It was a simple and inexpensive solution to a frustrating problem. Ours came with 3 keys. One for me, one for my husband, and a spare to put away for safe keeping in case we lose one.

I enjoyed how nice this lock felt both in quality and the smoothness of the unlock. I honestly sat on my couch, clipping and unlocking this lock just because it felt so nice. Thank being said, I can imagine it's a fairly easy lock to pick if someone really wanted to or had a padlock skeleton key. That's just a guess though.

Got to use at a medical facility (PT) that have lockers for your stuff, but no security. Had my credit cards stolen which are replaceable, of course, but a hassle. I now use this little lock - perfect size. Not too heavy but not flimsy either. 3 keys were a surprise, but welcomed. I use a lanyard to hold the key while doing the physical therapy. I can easily foresee other uses . Highly recommend.
