We installed these fairly high on our home on the covered overhang and they look great. If you have even basic know-how on how to work with electrical wiring these should be no problem at all. The only trick was getting the wire to the overhang area through our attic. Instead of just pointing down directly to the ground, we are able to adjust the gimbal so that it lights up the actual wall itself and it looks fantastic. We purchased additional of these for the rear of our home and it looks equally impressive.

I am installing these lights in the ceiling above the bar in the basement. The installation is quite challenging because I need to run wires and remove sections of the ceiling panel to insert both the control box and the light. Not only did that take quite some time, I had to do a lot of spackling work to finish. But the lights work great, and I love the ability to alter the temperature of the light and the ability to dim them. It should be noted that you need to adjust the temperature before you close up the ceiling.It should be noted that these lights are not all that bright providing only 600 lumens each. They are great for mood lighting and do provide comfortable and adequate illumination for a bar in the basement.

Very well put together gimbal lights. I really like the smaller 3" size and the square plate around the light housing looks great in my opinion. The light head pivots between two different sides. Kelvin selection is awesome. Very easy to install and the wire connection points have a very quick easy to use wire fastener already attached. Great looking lights, great product!

The media could not be loaded. I've installed a lot of can lights in my time and these lights from Nuwatt are among the best I've ever installed--right up there with Juno and Seagull lights I've installed. They're a league ahead of other still-quite-good can and puck lights I've installed over the years. I'm totally pleased with the quality.Now these are sqare-framed lights, but the light itself is round and the hole it fits in is the exact same shape and size any other three-inch can light goes into. It requires a 2 7/8" round hole for which a carboard template is included. If you follow the template and don't go tight, you will be able to fit the electrical junction box (which also contains the LED driver) through the hole into the space above.The quality of this light is unassailable. The metal is solid. The plastic fitting containing the LED is thick and sturdy. The LED fitting threads into the light's gimbal which also contains a thick glass or plastic lens (I can tell which and I don't want to try scratching it to find out). The light's gimbal can move in any direction and isn't limited to one axis of movement.Overall, this is a stunningly atrractive light with a build quality that equals its looks.

Have not installed them yet but the build quality looks great. I put the gimbal at the farthest angle it will go to give an idea of flex. The housing is nice and thin to sit mostly flush with the cabinet. I am installing these inside some cabinets so I wanted both small and square flange. The back of the square flange has a very thin layer of foam to seal out draft and bugs. Nice quality. Will update with any problems but I do not anticipate any.

I’m using these lights on a display cabinet in a kitchen that will be stained a dark walnut color. These will match the wood and won’t stand out against the dark background. Easy to adjust angle that you want in order to highlight the features in the cabinet. Well made and great product.
