I ordered this product to keep my watch/clock tools and parts a little more organized than just being scattered in a large drawer.The drawers are tinted but translucent, as shown in the images. If used in a dimly lit area, it might be challenging to see into; but as long as there is a modest amount of light, it shouldn’t be too much of an issue.This drawer unit seems a great quality, especially considering the price. Made of a rigid plastic, the drawers feel solid and not wobbly. The housing also seems secure and not prone to falling apart. I much prefer this set to the Rubbermaid ones my wife has. All that being said, if not on a solid, stable surface or dropped, it ostensibly could break. Such are the dangers of a non flexible plastic. I wouldn’t recommend this product if it’s going to be moved around frequently. As long as it stays relatively stationary, there shouldn’t be an issue.Some of the reviews I read mentioned that it was smaller than they were expecting, but the dimensions are shown in one of the pictures as well as in the product description. Measure before you order to ensure that it fits your needs.I read a few reviews that said it was prone to tipping over. If you’re having an issue with it tipping, make sure you’re putting heavier items in the bottom drawers and lighter items in the upper drawers. Also, it helps to only have one drawer open at a time to keep the center of gravity where it was designed to be.It all boils down to this: treat it as what it is - cheap plastic drawers that are, presumably, not going to be heirloom items.

While the uses for this organizer are endless, I purchased this desktop organizer to manage and organize small "work in progress" pieces for craft projects. It's the perfect size to manage a lot of small things together without taking up a lot of space, not too big and not too small. I labeled the drawers and placed shelf liner in the drawer bottoms. The clear drawers are very handy to see what's inside at a glance.The only downside for me is that I use the drawers as removable work trays, and the drawers are not easily removable with one hand.
