This is my first time trying maple sugar even though I've had plenty maple syrups in my life. I must say I actually maple sugar. It has a caramel-l like taste. The sugar is quite refined.I like to add it in my coffee or tea. At times, I even sprinkle some on my chopped strawberries, watermelons, or tomatoes. It tastes great.

I had never heard of maple sugar until I received some as a gift. My husband put it in his rub and it made the most delicious pork I had ever tasted! Unfortunately it ran out. I was hoping to find a comparable sugar here on Bolo. I was very pleased with the texture of this one and delighted with the little bits of maple that didn't get ground up. (They remind me of the hard little bits in old brown sugar.) Flavor-wise, it is a winner! I added it to my subscribe and save.
