I decided to buy this primarily for travel use so that even when I am away from home.I can connect to my home network via WireGuard VPN and access my NAS drive without replying on software VPN on my laptop and mobile.As a side benefit I travel a lot to countries with lot of internet censorship and It helps me overcome those censorship. All my devices, laptop/tablets, smartphones are connected to this and this router is connected to my home network and I don't have to worry about any app blocked in that country.I feel Wiregaurd client on windows and Android/ios is not stable enough and connection gets degraded over time. But I have not felt it when using Wirgaurd thru this Router.It is one of the fastest VPN travel router with 4 core Qualcomm chip capable of around 500Mbps VPN throughput via WireGuard.Software UI that GliNET provides is very neat and clean and easy to understand. I was able to setup withing minutes. It can connect to Internet via its Ethernet Wan Port, via WIFI as well as USB tethering.It also provides standard OpenWrt web interface which is more advanced but I did not have to use that.Besides wiregaurd which is gold standard these days for home VPN it also support OpenVPN, ZeroTier, TailScale.It also provide option to turn on adgaurd in the router and all devices connected will have ads blocked.On the WiFi side it provides both 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz SSID and you can name them differently. Also provides options to set Guest SSID for both bands.It has tons of plugins that can downloaded on to this router and activated. Astonishing to see so much functionality packed in this tiny little device.If you are looking at it and on the fence. Buy it and you will be amazed how much functionality this device can provide.*Edit*Fan bug has been fixed in the latest firmware and you can set the temperature threshold from 70 degrees to 90 degree. I set mine to 70 degree and fan maintains this temperature and adjust the speed to stay at this temperature.

This is pretty much exactly like the review say. Watched the many reviews in the Beryl AX to find out pretty much everything about the software in this model. The main differences are in the capabilities of the processor. This version reportedly can achieve much higher speeds via VPN (such as WireGuard). I have yet to be able to fully test this.It was very easy to setup and get working. I was able to tether my iPhone with zero hassles. True plug and play.Need to test Ethernet WAN and WiFi repeating but since the reviewers often test that on the Beryl version. I have no doubts it will work.Looking forward to using this in the wild.

Excellent travel router. I was able to create a network storage with 7 hard drives. Each one of them 4 TB. Easy to instal. I use a powered USB hub to connect all hard drives to the single us port of the router. The speed is no the best like a raid or NAS but work for my goal of photo images. It have a lot of extra capabilities and great value for the money.

I actually really truly like the pocket wi-fi. It's good enough to give coverage to my 1200 sf apartment. It's speedy and really does deliver Wi-Fi 6 speeds. I just wish the browser-based config UI was a little more thought out. There are great features hidden away in the config that are hard to find and figure out because of the UI. Once you figure it out, the unit is great. But unless you're an IT person like me, the UI might drive you crazy.

This travel router works great. Setup is really easy and performance is good. Since it runs off USB C, I was able to power it from my Anker GaN multi output charger which also powered my laptop. I purchased this for my Cruise and it worked well as a repeater.

The GL.iNet GL-AXT1800 was easy to setup and works as stated.
Easy to setup... Good interface... Found wifi networks as it should and connected to all the networks I have used so far with no issues.Note: I do get a "Unknown Error" popup some times when I am connecting to a new network but the router does manage to connect anyway and has not dropped a connection yet.I have not found a reason for the error message and I am running the latest firmware.

Kompakt und dennoch viel Leistung und viele Funktionen
Ich habe den Router für den Einsatz im Wohnmobil gekauft und bin begeistert.Für mich lässt er keine Wünsche übrig. Mir ist wichtig, dass der Router sich mit dem WiFi vor Ort verbinden kann, auch bei denen ein Captive Portal einen Login ins WiFi erforderlich macht.Außerdem kann ich mich direkt über die Router Software mit einem VPN verbinden.Schön ist auch der integrierte AdBlocker. Der Router kann noch deutlich mehr, jedoch benutze ich die weiteren Funktionen nicht und kann dazu entsprechend nichts schreiben.Die Verbindung zu anderen WiFi Netzwerken funktionieren bisher einwandfrei und ist stabil. Die Sendeleistung ist sehr gut.Die Software ist einfach zu verstehen und sehr übersichtlich gestaltet. Ich habe mich dort sofort zurechtgefunden.Die Verarbeitung scheint wertig zu sein und der Router ist sehr kompakt. Viel Leistung, wenig Platzbedarf.Ich kann das Gerät uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Un excellent petit routeur ou point d'accès. Paramétrable à souhait et surtout accessible à distance. Parfait pour les voyages ou dans les hôtels si vous séjournez un petit moment et que vous voulez avoir le wifi de l'hôtel protégé.
