The issue that I have with most zip top bags for the freezer is that they're too thin to actually hold up to the harsher temperatures and ice build up that happens in a freezer. So you throw your stuff into a regular bag, and hope for the best. If you're going to go back and unload it quickly, that'll be fine, but the bag will likely be worse for the wear.These bags are study. I mean heavy duty sturdy. That's why they have that month and date thingy on there: because you know you can put stuff in, and throw it into the freezer to hang out longer term, and it'll be fine. I have used these for a while now and they always stand up to the punishing conditions of the freezer. No complaints.

Great fast way to mark and date food when freezing. I buy beef & chicken in large value packs on sale and divide it up into meal size portions and freeze. I also make waffles with my Mini Waffle Maker and freeze them ... you can pop them in the toaster for a quick breakfast treat.I have used this brand bags for years, they protect and freeze food well. You should used most frozen food within 6 months to avoid freezer burn. I put the older dated food in my freezer to the front and newest to the back whenever freezing a new batch. Having osteoarthritis in my hands the zipper makes opening these a breeze.Love that they have printed an easy markable calendar on these. The only thing I think they could improve on is a space at the top of the calendar for the year. I circle month & day, write what I am freezing, how much, and add the year.I buy both the quart & half gallon size in these bags.

I think it’s the same volume as a regular Ziploc but for some items that I want to freeze it’s nice to have a bag shaped this way. I also like that the price was very reasonable. The sliding seal has bastard quite a few years still going strong .

I love these food storage bags. Having a date on it allows me to see when I put the item in the bag or when it is likely to expire. The bags keep things fresh, are of good quality and the zipper is also well made and functional. I will be buying these bags again once I need to replace my current supply.
