This is the perfect setting powder, great for melanin skin. Easy to dust off once set and gives a really clean look to your makeup. This is my monthly purchase now and it lasts almost the whole day, doesn’t crease up if used correctly, I would definitely recommend to all the beginner makeup artists. The elf setting powder is definitely the way to go.😍

I was looking for a setting powder that was a good dupe for the Kat von D Lock It translucent powder that I love. The KVD travel size powder is $10 and the full size is $30 so I don’t love it that much. I bought the e.l.f powder in medium and put both on to compare and I can’t tell the difference. Even after going to the playground with my kid on an 80 degree day, it held up. In my picture I used the e.l.f on the right side and the KVD on the left. Under the powders are light concealer under my eyes and a light coverage BB cream on my cheeks (I don’t like heavy makeup). The e.l.f powder does the job just as well as Kat von D sooooo e.l.f is what I’ll be rockin. You don’t have to spend a lot to get the results you want y’all!

I actually really like this setting powder and I love e.l.f. products, their makeup products are amazing! This one did not disappoint, and outperforms most expensive setting powders! I have oily/combination skin and I was worried that the setting powder might melt off my face, not hold my makeup on, or that oil will appear on my face anyways, but this powder actually manages to hold my makeup quite well. I also wear glasses, and I put this powder around the nose piece of the frames to prevent makeup smearing, and although there is still some makeup that gets picked up off my nose and gets on my glasses, it still works to eliminate most of the oil between my nose and my glasses. My only complaint is that I got one of the lighter shades, and when I use a large amount of this powder on my face there is a white shiny film over my skin. I don't mind this because it's not the most noticeable and can be ignored with blush or contour put over it, but I think it might just be the shade of the powder being more too light for my skin.

Setting powder isn't my most crucial step, but I will say that I'm always pleased with this powder, and I like that I can use up every last bit of it by removing the perforated top when it's nearing its end, unlike some brands.

Look no further! This loose powder is the absolute best! Prior to using setting spray, I use the elf loose powder to set the rest of my makeup. I have it in two shades. One for my pinkish tones and one for a more bronzing effect. Both blend very nicely. Elf just makes incredible products and they are cruelty free. Also, gluten free for those of us that are sensitive to gluten.

I bought this Elf Illuminating powder for my wedding and I absolutely love it! It’s light and airy and creates a very nice finish. It is also non-drying which is great because I have dry skin! I’ve used this when I have a “minimal make-up day” with some powder foundation, which is what I have on in the photo. I love Elf products!

This is actually a nice powder. Leaves a nice shuttle shine, great finishing powder. And the price is right. I’ve bought expensive powder and I’d say this is way better. Good choice. Will buy again.

Doesn’t crease!
I’m 46 so expected this to crease on my skin as all powder does,it doesn’t! I use it to pat over my concealer like baking with a triangle puff (it looks dry only at first) but does not crease at all all day! Finally found a powder that works!
Nice setting powder
Lovely powder. Doesn’t leave the skin overly matte. I think it’s especially good for skin that’s a bit on the dry side. For oily skin it’s not the best I think. Overall great product.
