These shelves are great for household items and are used in the basement. My wife, and actually, some others, assembled them together. They don't require much work, just some time to put together. They are not sturdy enough for heavy items, but they can hold lightweight items like shoes, Christmas decorations, and old appliances that you no longer use, such as a toaster or an iron. They can also hold gifts in case of an emergency when you need a last-minute gift. They are made of good quality, there's no question about that. However, I'm not sure if they will last long under heavy use."

Got this about a year and a half ago when I moved to a new apt that had zero bathroom storage. Set it up and it immediately became a "genius idea". It came with five shelves and after some measuring I decided to only put on four and leave space for my cats litter box underneath (also genius). Admittedly it didn't feel super sturdy upon first setting it up, but after adjusting the feet a little bit it's fine. I kept cat litter on the bottom-most shelf, upwards of 80lbs total at times.. no issues. Plus towels, and some miscellaneous stuff up top. Trust me, as long as it's assembled correctly and level, it's strong enough.I moved to another apt six months ago that has a small bathroom with plenty of storage, but the kitchen has a large footprint. Bingo. Kitchen was perfect. This time I'm only using three shelves and have the cats food and water bowls underneath. It's official. I'm a genius.
5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy shelving once assembled without castor wheels.
I bought 4 of these to help organize my connex. They were easy to put together by myself. I can see where some might have problems getting the first/lowest shelf secured. The first one took me about 20 minutes to put together, the other 3 took about 10 minutes each. It probably took as long to unbox as to assemble. Mine were fastened together with heavy zip ties, which should be cut. If you try to muscle/twist them off, I could imagine damaging the shelving. They are sturdy and fit my situation just dandy. For the price with free shipping to rural Alaska, I'd say its a good deal. I did not use the castor wheels. Each one of mine came with a pack of extra clips, which I didn't need. Adjustable feet are a bonus.

I liked that it came with wheels. Its decorative appearance fits my kitchen well, but one shelf was bent. We placed it on the bottom to obscure it.

This product was really easy to assemble, and it's really strong!The shelves are made out of solid, sturdy, metal, and it can hold a lot of weight. It matches the product listing perfectly. Accurate pictures as well.It's also a good size, it isn't too big or too small.The wheels also make it super easy to move the shelf around and it has two locking wheels if you want the shelf to securely stay in one place.I ordered two more for a total of three after the first one came in!

These shelves are easy to pit together and very sturdy. It was smaller than we expected so we were unable to fit bins on the shelves.
5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy for my use. Not so easy to put together.
The directions were not that great but we were able to put together. There was no list of parts in the package but all pieces were there in small sealed bags and the side posts were tied down nicely. The snall black sleeves are well marked for putting them together. However, the small black plastic sleeves did not readily 'snap' together into the post grooves - half of the sleeves didn't even close completely around the posts but we put them on as tightly as possible (one side was closed & the other side would not close completely). We continued on and placed the shelf on as directed but most of the black sleeves kept slipping down the posts when we tried to secure/slide the shelf on top of them. We had to hold the black sleeves in place with one hand and push the shelf over the black sleeves ... this was hard but as we did this we felt, we heard/felt a 'CLICK' so we knew that the black sleeve & shelf were secure. This is not mentioned in the directions and this was the difficult part. We had to figure out for ourselves that when we heard and felt the 'click' that the shelf and sleeve were secure. We had a rubber mallet which was the final touch after we were sure that the shelf and sleeve were appropriately aligned. We just tapped the shelf lightly with the mallet and heard/felt the 'click'. The cart is NOT wobbly and the wheels work very nicely. I have fairly heavy craft materials stored on each shelf. I believe it is a good price for the unit. It moves very nicely on rugs as well which is important for my use. Now that we are 'experienced' in building this cart, I would definitely purchase another :-)

Both shelves I ordered came opened. Pieces were shoved back in and scattered everywhere.The description had said just packaging damage but these were both clearly returns and fairly well scratched up. I was even missing some of the clips to place the shelves. Thank goodness one had come with a spare clip because the other was short half a clip. So frustrating. But you get what you pay for. They will work for my pantry.
