I bought this on a whim when it was on sale for black Friday and was waiting to review it when I had a migraine. That hasn't popped up but I like it so much I figured I'd write a review anyway.The slight cool pressure it puts on my face helps me fall asleep faster at night. I find that it slips off in the middle of the night but that's okay because then it's usually cool again if I do wake up in the middle of the night.I find that this doesn't have to be refrigerated to be enjoyed. It is cool to the touch and doesn't get "hot" from being on your head. Having said that, it doesn't feel nearly as pleasant if it has been warmed before hand, like from accidentally laying on it. Freezing it makes it much too cold to wear continuously. I think it would be sufficiently cool from the fridge to alleviate migraines. I can't wait to try it out in the summer when it's so hot here.I already had to buy another one because my daughter kept filching mine.

I bought this as a gift for a dear friend who is suffering from debilitating headaches. She immediately put it in the freezer. When it was ready, she tried it out and says she fell in love. The compression and the cold have helped her quite a bit and she is thrilled with this. I am so happy with this purchase!

This thing is the bomb
Best gel cap
The gel is thick and is 360 degrees as advertised. Unlike many other cheaper options on Bolo where the gel pads only cover half the head (front or back) despite their advertising.the coolness only lasts about 30min even when taken ice cold from the freezer but it’s better than nothing.This has helped me avoid taking painkillers for my migraines.
Honestly worth it!
I get regular hormonal migraines and have become pretty efficient at getting my pain under control. However, someone suggested one of these to me and it is AMAZING. I already am a fan of having something cold on my forehead/neck whilst having my feet in/on something warm as a natural way to get the pain under control but it’s always proven to be quite a faff balancing cool packs or damp flannels on my head. This takes all that faff away! I keep it always in the fridge in the bag it came in so it’s ready to be used. It can be frozen for a short while too (and heated up but I have never tried that option). I have a large head and a LOT of thick hair yet this fits. It also sits comfortably on the more averaged sized head. I will update this review if my opinion changes or if I come across any negative points but so far so good!

Love it, but only issue is if you put it in the fridge or freezer, it doesn’t hold that temperature for very long. Maybe 15 minutes and then it warms up quite quickly. Still awesome though.

I love this thing, I give it 10/10. It’s hard to know you have a headache when you can’t feel your head!!I would recommend leaving it sit 5ish minutes out of the freezer before applying to your head. I found the cold almost painful directly from the freezer but shortly after that was comforting and relaxing
