Out of the box this thing really looks like a nice set. I was really hoping this would do it for me because my 5 year old cordless Wahl is starting to not hold a charge for very long. Unfortunately this is not going to work for me though.One of my pictures shows everything included in this set- clipper handle, blades, attachments, brush, oil, guards, base, charging cable, and bag.I like that you can use the same charging cable to either plug directly into the trimmer, or into the back of the base and then you can set the trimmer in the base to charge it. The charging cable plugs into a USB port but note that no charging block is included with the set. One great feature the trimmer has: When it is on it clearly shows the battery percentage, so you won't potentially start a trim and then find out that it was almost out of juice.The trimmer body is a good size to hold- not too big or small, and not too heavy. It's nice that it comes with the different attachments- closer shaver, nose/ear trimmer, and 3 widths of clipper blades. Be aware though that the 4 standard guards that are included only fit on the widest blade, and there is an adjustable guard that goes with the medium width blade.As far as the guards go- if you are used to using numbers (example: #2 guard), know that these guards are only marked with millimeters. So I looked up the sizes and found that the standard guard numbers are actually eighths of an inch:#1 = 1/8" = ~ 3mm#2 = 1/4" = ~ 6mm#3 = 3/8" = ~ 10mm#4 = 1/2" = ~ 13mmThe 4 guards included in this set are 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm. So the longest guard is just shorter than a typical #4. I like to keep my beard a bit longer than that sometimes so this doesn't work for me.I still wanted to give this thing a try though, and my beard was getting a bit out of control, so I charged it up, clipped on the 12mm guard, and attempted to go to work. This is where the fun stopped. When I turned it on I noticed that it wasn't as loud as my old clippers and didn't seem to be vibrating as much. Cool new tech, I thought. But then as soon as I put this thing into my beard it started yanking hairs. Ouch! I tried again in a couple different spots and it did the same everywhere. My beard was clean at the time too, and I semi-regularly use beard cream so while the hairs are somewhat thick they are actually pretty soft. I took of the guard and was able to clean up my thinner hairs around my ears and neck without issue, but I had to go back to my old Wahl clippers to finish the beard.So overall, if you have thinner hair and/or you are just looking to do a light trim anywhere else then this may work for you, but if you have thicker hair and/or plan to use this as a beard or "other areas" trimmer then I suggest looking elsewhere.

My husband is very impressed with this trimmer. He trimmed his beard, shaved his face and did a quick buzz of his head and said, "This is a keeper".The trimmer is waterproof, which is nice considering it's normally used in the bathroom around water. The trimmer can be charged while in the base or it can be charged on its own. The base is plastic, the portion of the accessories that sit in the base are plastic, so it isn't sturdy. Everything kind of slides around easily.If you have a large vanity area where it won't be getting bumped, keeping everything in the plastic stand/base would work. But if you are short on room, and know it will get bumped, then opt for the storage bag that is also included.My husband really likes the digital display letting him know how much battery life is remaining on the trimmer. Another feature he liked is the button is a simple push to turn on and push to turn off. His other trimmers have been a slide button and after a while they would get tiny bits of hair inside and no longer slide easily. He believes that this is going to solve that problem.Besides the carry bag, you also get a brush to clean the blades and blade oil. The trimmer was fully charged when it was opened so no charging was needed to try it out. My husband gives this 2 thumbs up, so that translates into 5 stars from me.

I really like this trimmer set and it works well for trimming my beard etc... It is far superior to my major brand trimmers I have used in the past with very smooth power and high rpm's. The charging stand and LCD status make this a way more expensive set than the price would suggest. There were a couple of issues that could be remedied but don't really take away from the quality. First the cord that plugs into the stand comes straight out the back with no bend. If you put this on your counter it will be 1.5 inches from the wall for no reason. I put mine in the corner and it's ok but this should not be this way. Second, I searched everywhere for parts but didn't find any. When the foil wears out or you break a plastic guide there may not be replacements. Third, some guides pull hair for some reason. Not a big deal and it's not the trimmer but some hair is catching on the guide before it's cut. Still for the price this is the best trimmer you can buy so give it a try. Highly recommend!

These are good clippers.But I don’t appriciate being sent a usd dirty pair. They was not sanitary at all. Sent them back for new ones these didn’t look new either.

I got it because of the price on sale, and for all the fittings. I have better electric razors of all types. I generally only use the nose hair trimmer on this. I didn't expect much, and met my low expectations. I would not buy this except for a really low price, like I did.

The media could not be loaded. I got this multipurpose trimmer for my husband to use when we travel. I thought the interchangeable heads might be handy, but I didn't realize how much space they'd save.My husband has very coarse facial hair, and he says this trimmer does a decent job of shaving, trimming, etc. It's also nice it comes with several guards.It charges easily via the base and included cord. It's very quiet when it runs.I would recommend this trimmer for a packable travel option.

My fiance has used this several times so far. It is high quality and we have no complaints so far. It works as well as a more expensive clipper set that we own. The digital battery display is very helpful and easy to read. It's nice to have a cordless clipper set and we would repurchase.

This is a very nice set of clippers for the price. They are quiet and offer a close smooth shave. They are easy to use and battery life seems to be decent so far. I like that they are waterproof and that they offer a stand to keep everything together.
