I ordered this level for installing a suspended ceiling. It was so easy to use and appeared to be quite accurate. I used a 6ft carpenter's level to check for accuracy, and this self-leveling tool was spot on. I couldn't have done this with the carpenter's level alone ... or at all.

it will only turn off by locking it (switch on front to lock/unlock mechanism) but it self levels just fine and brightness has 4 levels. not bad for the price, comes with batteries, mounting arm, and carrying pouch. 8/10 not the best out there but it works just fine. only thing wrong is power button doesnt turn it off just on, i have to turn it off by sliding locking button to lock position.

First off, the device is super durable and even has some water resistance so don’t be worried about being rough with it. The manual is easy to understand and very helpful to properly use the auto level and manual modes. I’ll eventually need a tripod for more control of placement and direction, but the magnetic stand it comes with is very strong and secure. I appreciate the device coming with its own carry case, laser target, and batteries! Honestly for the price, compared to similar levels this one sure is a bang for your buck and I personally prefer the green laser to red for visibility.

We’ve always struggled to find a way to hang a grid of pictures that is evenly spaced, but the laser level makes it quick and easy. The lines are sharp and easy to see, and the leveling of the device is perfect. The product is functional, very easy to use, and seems to be quite durable.

The Motovera laser level performs well for its price point. It produces accurate, straight lines and the green laser beams are visible even in bright conditions. The media could not be loaded. The Motovera Laser Level is appropriate for hanging pictures or small projects. If you plan on using it often I wouldnt recommend it (see my Bosch recommendation below). However, it IS appropriately priced and it DOES work so for that reason I gave it 3/5.I didnt think a lack of a tripod would matter, but as I mounted it to my microphone stand, I began to see why so many of the ones professionals use comes with a sturdy stand able to be finely-adjusted. Putting a line on a ceiling is almost impossible in self-leveling mode, and the back is frustratingly rounded so even if you put it in manual mode and point it straight up, it wobbles.The mounting bracket doesnt secure the level very well, but I actually think this is a feature that allows it to function in self leveling mode. Still aggravating when using it in manual mode.It comes with a pouch that doesnt hold everything. Brilliant.I used the target plate, and although it was the worst one I've used, it still worked. For those that dont know, the target plate keeps you from walking back and forth while you constantly adjust, check, adjust again, etc. If the one that comes with this level frustrates you, I recommend the Milwakee target plate. It's not sold on Bolo, but likely at your nearest hardware store.But if you are going that far, you might as well purchase a Bosch laser level. Bosch is probably the most respected name for the professional, while still remaining affordable.While I cant recommend this product if you are using it a lot, it certainly does what it advertises at a low cost.JHA
