I ordered five of these for gifts and three of them arrived leaking sticky syrup everywhere! They are completely unusable and everything else in the box was covered in crusted sugar and syrup. Had to throw it all out, and the items cannot be refunded. Gross.

I like these chocolates very much—tasty and attractive—and purchase a box every few months. But many candies in last two boxes were dried out and were leaking sugary boozy contents. Each piece is wrapped in colored foil—when the candy leaks, it dries on the foil and makes it hard to unwrap. I won’t order again.

The media could not be loaded. I was nervous with some of the reviews but for some reason tried it anyways. I'm soooo glad I did. I love chocolate but not a drinker. It said top shelf so figured it would be rather good liquor AND IT IS! It will make a great treat for friends who stop over. The crate is so adorable and fully functional after the chocolate is all gone. The individually wrapped Supreme tasting Dark Chocolate and when you bite in, it is filled 100% with by far top shelf liquor as if this couldn't already be more than expected....I get a sugary shell perfectly coated on the inside of the chocolate. I'm so thankful I found this candy to try 💚

One broke during shipping leaving a sticky box. Two others had open foils. The bottoms of all were white like old chocolate. The hard sugar shell is off-putting and too sweet. Just glad it wasn't sent as a gift.

I got some friends a box of liquor filled chocolates the previous year and they wanted some again. I found these on Bolo and brought them to the party and they are much better than the previous year gift. They have a lot of liquor in them and they taste very good, and the chocolate is great quality. They were very, very, very happy! I have a feeling I have to get this for them every year, lol. This is the new standard. Mmmmmmmm😋
1.0 out of 5 stars Leaky and Ruined; 41F to 64F temperature tolerance???
Save your money, don't buy this. Every single one was leaking, no returns as it's an (overpriced) food item. I should've heeded the reviews. It says on the package it has a min and max temperature of 41F to 64.4 F... how would that even be possible to attain in an uninsulated Bolo box? Lots of bloom on the chocolate, so it was clearly not temperature controlled. They should not be selling this.
Really Good but..
I really liked the chocolate and it is truly liquor filled (I'm not a liquor expert, but it tasted good). And it was very well packaged.But for about 30% to 40% of the box the liquor filler leaked. It doesn't seems that the problem came from the chocolate production but from inadequate storage/transportation.I ordered during summer and the package was left in the sun for about 2 hours until I picked up, so that could have caused the leaking. I will give it a second try late fall.
