When my husband left, he took the iron. And that was okay because as good as it was, that iron was too heavy for me and my bum shoulder. Then I found this thing. Compact, fully functional, lightweight, and easy to use. And that leaf shaped faceplate is the BOMB. I'm taking it to Europe with me this summer and I'm psyched that it has a switch for the different voltages used there.So I'm not just using this thing for travel, I'm using it for everyday ironing as well. Okay, it's small, the water reservoir is small, and so you have to refill a little more often. But if you have an issue like mine where you can't maneuver a big, heavy iron, this thing is terrific!

Love this compact iron/steamer that gets the job done!! It works fabulously for International Travel with dual voltage conversion. It’s such a great compact size and light weight, it can be squeezed into luggage without taking up much space. It’s a great travel iron…but I know I’ll find amazing uses for it at home. It’s actually nicer than most irons as you can focus on ironing smaller sections at a time…results are crisp and challenging areas in between buttons, etc, as easy to navigate around! Heats up great and provides the right amount of steam.

I gave 4 stars because you can't sit it up. I quilt and this is a great size for that but I like being able to set the iron up when I am using it, I don't feel comfortable just leaving it on the rubber pad it comes with. Otherwise works great and is a much easier size to have when quilting.

I am a seamstress and a quilter; and I needed a small iron next to my sewing machine to press seams. This little iron fits the bill perfectly. Its small size ensures that it is lightweight and easy to use. The handle is extremely comfortable and fits my hand easily. A plus is that it is a steam iron, too. It is a travel iron with a dual voltage switch so it can be used out of the country. Don’t be fooled by its diminutive appearance. When used on the maximum heat setting, it is as hot as my full-size iron. It will fit in a suitcase and take up little space. I am highly satisfied with this purchase.

I love this it stay nice and hot so I can quickly press open seams without running to my ironing board. Fits in the palm of my hand just right

On the positive side, this iron seems to get nice and hot and does the job. The negative for me is that I didn't realize that it has to lay on the silicone mat since it's pointed on both ends. The mat gets very hot after awhile and is starting to warp slightly. I purchased this as an iron to use for my quilting projects when a large iron isn't needed. So it lays on the mat for quite awhile. I haven't used the steam feature yet so I can't comment on that.

Great for ironing small things while I sew but don't expect it to be useful ironing clothing while traveling. I use this next to my sewing machine as I sew.Steam function is ALWAYS on when filled with water.Handle gets hot when on, to be expected. Not uncomfortably so but you definitely know it on.***REVISED REVIEW***After writing the above, the company reached out to me. Because of their proactive approach and AMAZING customer service, I am changing from 3 stars to 5. You don't see customer service like this every day.Still like the iron for its size while sewing, but won't travel with it to iron my clothes. If you are a crafter this may be the right iron for retreats or beside your project when a full size iron and ironing board is just too much.

What a disappointment!!
The product was clearly used, returned, and resold. It smelled like vinegar as I opened the spout to fill with water. I followed the directions for the steam option and it did not work which is probably why the last purchaser returned it.
Great iron
This iron is really nice. It heats up so quickly!
One Feature Missing
I have used this iron a lot since I first got it at the end of October. It is very easy to use and it has a large water reservoir so the steam function works for a long time. Due to the large amount of water, the iron is weightier than my previous iron; however, this works in its favour because very little extra pressure needs to be applied.The one feature that I miss from my old iron is that it had a "Standby" setting. In other words, when I am working on a start/sew/iron/measure/iron/sew type of project, it would be a lot handier to have a "Standby" setting as this iron shuts itself off after 8 minutes and I often need 10 to 15 minutes as I work on 5 or 6 items at a time.Other than that, I am pleased with this iron - my previous one had a Teflon coating but I think I like this ceramic plate better.

The only thing i don't like about this, is the steam is inconsistent. Otherwise, great. Huge improvement over my old one!!
