5.0 out of 5 stars Great incentive for a child wearing a brace
The Barbie toys nailed it on this one. The doll even has a crooked back which is anatomically correct for a child with scoliosis.J
5.0 out of 5 stars Brunette little sister
Just so cute! Nice that Barbie cares about what people are going through enough to make a doll to represent them!
5.0 out of 5 stars Cute and accurately representative of scoliosis community
Quality of doll is excellent. Hair and accessories are nicer than I thought they would be ! Her back is actually S-shaped, and one shoulder is higher than the other (just like me!) I appreciate people with scoliosis being represented, and I wish I had her when I was a child! All accessories are removable.
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!
Incredibly adorable and well made, I love that the back brace is remove and has little fasteners. I wish something like this was around when I was little and wearing a back brace, but it was amazing to be able to buy as an adult as well.
5.0 out of 5 stars I loved this doll
As a long term doll collector, I loved this doll. Mainly because the doll, introduces young children to different people they may encounter in real life. This teaches young children, to be more about open minded about meeting others who might be different from themselves.
5.0 out of 5 stars So sweet and representation matters!
I was so intrigued when I saw that this doll with scoliosis existed. I love that Barbie/Mattel is trying to represent more of the actual world so that children can see that there are doll different kinds of people in the world with different abilities. I didn't hesitate for a second to add her to my doll collection ❤️
5.0 out of 5 stars Surprise doll diversity
Wow, we were so excited to find a “scoliosis” doll! Even though my daughter didn’t have to wear a brace, she had scoliosis surgery and 100% related to and appreciated this little doll and are donating another one to the hospital where a lot of kids wear back braces. You can snap and unsnap the brace to remove it, and the doll’s back is actually curved!! Huge kudos to Mattel for representing a fairly common osteo issue that is not often seen in media, let alone in a doll!
4.0 out of 5 stars Great learning tool
Im getting these for future granddaughters since it is more so in girls but it can work for boys as well to be able to tell them why their grandmother is disabled. I've had 9 spinal surgeries due to my scoliosis with more to come. My 1st was at 13 after a year of 12 hour bracing ever day. It was starting to work but when I was crossing the street once I was hit by a car so all that time and progress from the brace was useless and I had to go with surgery for correction. I had Harrington rods on my Tspine. The weight was pushing down on my L-spine and pulling down my Cspine causing more pain. I had 2 L-spine surgeries where a cage was put in to lift the Harrington rods. Then I had problems with even that and had 4 more surgeries due to malfunctions and loose screws. I had 2 Cspine surgeries. The 2nd one was to correct what the doctor messed up in the 1st one. I became disabled at 35 when I lost my job due to the all day chronic pain that was getting worse and worse since childhood. No one knows what else to try so my only help so i just take pain pills 6 times a day and am mostly bed bound.
Scoliosis Chelsea doll
Wow such a sweet little doll. Really fine details, we couldn’t believe that her shoulders were accurate as well as her backside S curve. We figured she would just be a doll that comes with a little brace, but she’s pretty scoliosis correct (for a doll!).Hope they make a male doll for the boys too. Great price and quality.

The cutest Kelly/Chelsea ever
Bought one for myself after my niece got one (she has mild scoliosis and brown hair). It is so amazing to have a little doll in my office that looks like my family. I hope they do more disability/medical equipment dolls in the future. Many family members have bought this doll now since my SIL found them, because she looks like our favorite kiddo.
