This RC truck is much better than a $20 one at a generic store in a toy isle. I appreciate the two battery packs that are rechargeable and the parts that can be replaced if they break, it's not one molded piece of plastic that if it breaks, it's garbage. However, it doesn't appear that the parts are quite on the market yet for this specific model, so I've had to contact the manufacturer directly so far.The RC truck is great fun for my 7 year old, however he's now broken parts on it twice, once of course was a friend doing something they shouldn't have. So, I do say it is a bit on the fragile side for a 7 year old and may anticipate some of the pieces to break if the speed is all the way up and you're not observing.The customer support was cool about the first part breaking, they were able to confirm my order date and ship me a replacement. The unfortunate part was it was in China, so it took awhile.Great fun though, I've even had my hands on the remote a little bit and it's enjoyable for an adult. A good bonding experience for your kid and parent.

This was a Christmas gift for my 7 year old son. We got him 2/ 1 for me and 1 for him so we could race. It is a cool start to hobby RC cars as it has a high tech controller that allows you to adjust speed (huge perk to help the younger kids learn the controls). The cars them selves are cool looking and fun to race.There has been 2 hiccups.1st hiccup was one of the chargers had a bent prong so it doesn't fit the batteries.2nd hiccup was my son had it full speed and he clipped a wall and broke an axel.The positive is DEERC has had a great customer service for us. The charger is being replaced for free and I was able to order a replacement part through DEERC for $9. The only negative is it ships from so far away it will take 15 to 25 days to receive these items.Again overall great fun product and great customer service that is willing to help as needed!

Had to return this item because the controller would randomly just disconnect and the car would immediately become unresponsive and accelerate in a straight line until it hit something. It happened once or twice in the house and then it did it outside and crashed straight into a curb. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I returned because I didn't want to figure out what was going on.

I expected more power. It seems to fly around alright for speed but get bogged down in carpet and has issues backing up, I have to shift the steering and then pull backward to get it moving at a snails pace.I will say that the customer service was very helpful and fast in their responses. I will add a star for their efforts.

Car goes out of control
This product is not safe for the kids because it goes out of control and runs by itself on full speed and can’t be stopped by remote control. Sometimes it does not reverse and keep losing the connection with remote control. Replacing battery process is very hard too.
Failure rate
Bought 2 of these, one was malfunctioning out of the box, revving to its maximum even when throttle not being activated. Turn off and on resets it, but it just fails again. Good thing is request for refund processed very quickly., so A+ for service.
WORST PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Bought 4 Cars, 2x8600 E and 2x300EBoth 300E failed in 7-8 days, motor stopped working, shell cheap quality broke in first use. contacted deerc via website, They sent one motor and one shell first,Meanwhile i had returned one 300 E and bought new one instead of waiting. Received the item that to was sent for wrong car -9200 motor and Shell . They don't understand english or what not sure.The 8600 E shocker broke and one car front motor stuck on left side. Contacted again, they sent 2 replacement cars, as per courier company it was delivered but i never received it(Got cameras at house). Contacted many time and now they stopped replying and now today 9th Aug 2023 the company website is not working-"This Connection Is Not Private” Warning popping up. Waste of time and money with this company. DO NOT BUY- GO FOR BETTER BRAND
