Only 4 starts since it is too short to hold my longer chef and Japanese knifes. Way too expensive for what you get but I like the looks of it and have many knifes so I kept it anyway. If you were to buy the HexClad knife set to go with it I guess they would all fit ok based on the photo of the knife set on the block. Makes for easy knife access and display but wish it was a bit taller and ever a bit wider.Pros:- Nice weight and sturdy base.- Good magnet strength. Strong enough to hold but not too strong you pull the block over when removing a knife.- Nice quality wood and very nice finish/stain if you like the walnut color.Cons:- Doesn't fit longer knifes (an inch or so short in height).- Cost is way too much for what you get.- Only comes in walnut so customers wanting a lighter color will not have any other choice.

Perfect for up to 8 Inch Chefs knife and 7" Santoku's. Nice way to display your nice Damascus Cutlery. I like that it does not have Plexi-glass covering. You just twist knife handle slightly to break magnetic hold. Would definitely recommend.

I love this knife holder! My knives fit on both sides and the magnet easily holds them. It’s also very easy to remove a knife to use. I used to have a traditional knife block that took up a lot of space on my counter and sometimes my knives would stick a bit in their slots taking the knife out. Not with this. Knives come off easily and go back easily, and it takes up less room. I’d recommend this.

Love the rich grain of the American Black Walnut. More $$ than those with tropical wood but worth it. Magnet is strong and works well. Not too high so it fits under our cabinets.
