We're using this in our sauna. I much prefer looking at the sand level, rather than looking at the digital clock. I think my husband thought this was a silly thing, but now I see him watching it, too, instead of the digital panel. So, we both like it. And the purple sand is sexy. I was worried that the frame might get too hot to handle in the sauna, but thankfully, it's proven to not be an issue at all. I'm very happy with this hourglass!

It’s very nice , I decided to paint it myself and I’m going to have a friend add an engraving with her glowfordge after the wedding .My only thing is I wish it came with a funnel because it’s very hard finding one that will fit to get the sand in ..
