Very easy to use. You can cheat and use the take off button or give it a go yourself. App works pretty well with your phone so you can use the camera too. And there's even more features with the app.It's durable too, I'm surprised since I've crashed it a few times into walls and some unfortunate drops after hitting the side of my house. It's still flying strong and didn't need to change out the blades. The blade guards are good too.Comes with two batteries which for me is plenty of time for some fun. I wish I could get extra batteries but haven't found them. It's not a drawback to me. Batteries do take about 90 minutes to charge but that's okay for my use too.Haven't lost connection on it to really test the range but I've had numerous flights with it so far and it's solid as far as that goesOverall, great product and I would buy it again. If you're looking to get into drones but not sure where to start, this is a great one to start with. I know there are bigger, pricier ones out there...maybe those are great too but I'm happy with this and what it can do.

Cute, pocket sized drone that is easy to put together and use upon arrival. Has two rechargeable batteries that covers a flight time of approximately 30 minutes. Camera quality is pretty decent and noise level is about the same as a fan on high. Overall would recommend as a starter drone.

I've always wanted a drone but didn't want to break the bank. This is a an excellent drone at an excellent price point.Very easy to use and I was also very impressed with the camera and video quality. If you're not familiar with drones I would suggest starting out in an open area away from trees to get the hang of the controls.I've had a blast just playing with it but have found some useful ideas already and sure I'll think of more as time goes on. For instance, our home is two stories and I was an to inspect the gutters without having to climb a ladder and it was a joy doing it.The spare battery, spare parts and carrying case is a definite plus. I would definitely recommend this as an excellent Christmas or Birthday present. Got my money's worth of fun the first weekend!

I got this for my grandson (teenager) for Christmas. He loves it! Very easy to navigate. Holds it's charge well. No damage on hard landings. Well worth the price. Definitely recommended!

This drone is very easy to control. You do not have to worry about how much throttle. When you start it, it goes up about 3 or so feet and hovers in place. Then you can choose to have it go higher or lower, or just move around.The battery life seems pretty good for a drone and it comes with two batteries that are super easy to swap out. Very nice design.Also, on the photos, it shows how you press in a button to open the battery compartment of the remote. I hate how most controls have a screw that you have to remove in order to change the batteries. This just has a simple button to press in. No screw to keep track of or unscrew. Much better design.The app worked OK. I'm still trying to figure out how to control the drone with the app, but the camera works and the quality seemed pretty good for the price.Overall, it works pretty well. I did try it outside. Would not recommend flying it outside if there is much of a breeze. It is small, so the wind will win. But on a day with no breeze, it worked pretty well.

I recently bought this mini drone from Bolo. I feel it is a great starter drone for anyone looking to dive into the world of aerial photos and learning to fly drones. The assembly was straightforward and took me about 5 minutes. The drone is mostly put together in the box, but i had to attach a guard for the motor and insert batteries into both the transmitter and the drone. It comes with extra parts, which is a nice touch. Learning how to pair and fly the drone took a little bit of time, but it was well worth it. The S17 mini drone includes a few extra features.. 1) gravity control : you can control the drones movement using your phone simply by tilting it. 2) gesture controls: There are 2 gestures a "y" formation with your arms to take a photo and a "peace" sign to start recording video. both with a 3 second countdown. There is also a voice control feature to command the drone to move in various directions. Overall, the mini drone is for beginners who want to learn how to fly drones while also capturing basic photos and videos effortlessly. While flying does take some practice, the drone is user-friendly enough that you can start using it for photography and videography right away, whether through simple button presses, voice commands, or even using your iPhone as a controller. It combines ease of use with fun features, making it a great entry point into the world of drones. :) hope that was helpful
