5.0 out of 5 stars Good product with some details
The product works well. The lamp is pretty good, and I like the 3 different light colors. The only thing I want to highlight is that the rotation in the top of the lamp could be weak. If the phone is heavy, it could easily move down. The top of the lamp must adjust in the black rotator to properly match the little holes inside the rotation and to get tightened.
5.0 out of 5 stars Overall, this is a good set-up
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this for the overhead filming capability when I make an occasional DIY craft video. While this unit may not fold up in to a little box like the previous stand I tried ( and returned), it is much better in terms of stability, brightness, and maneuverability.PROS FOR THIS RING LIGHT:#1- Lighting can be fine tuned, as there are 12 brightness levels for the warm, cool, and natural lighting and18 different RBG modes (6 static, 12 dynamic). Brightest setting is nice!#2- Fairly sturdy. The flat base also allows for a heavier object to be placed on it, if necessary, although I don't need to do that.#3- There are multiple adjustments that can be made to get the right angle or height.#4- A small digital camera can attached to the adjustable ball mount, provided it has the same size hole for the mounting screw (mine does).#5- Affordable.#6- Enough room to work below while doing overhead filming.#7- Comes with a 12-month replacement manufacturer's warranty and lifetime customer service.CONS:#1- Some of the screws doesn't tighten as well as they could. For example the round one on the arm adjustment knob. While it does keep prevent the rod from sliding forward or back, it still moves up and down a little bit. This doesn't affect overall stability, but it's worth mentioning.#2- Would be nice if it were available in white.
4.0 out of 5 stars Came with things I didn't even know I wanted
-1 star: Materials are on the light/thin/cheap side. I expected this and I don't mind - just handle with care. I accidentally broke the notch on the battery panel of the selfie clip-on light. Nothing tape can't fix. Also, the braces on either side of the tripod legs at the bottom are thin and could bend with enough force, so I wouldn't set this stand up in a windy location. (Not like I need to. I'm trying to sell my soul to strangers, not do weather reports here.)+1 star: Setup was a breeze. Intuitive. There are adjustable knobs EVERYWHERE so you can control the height and angles of every single feature. Suddenly I am a goddess of spacetime in total control of my phone's position with zero learning curve. Now I don't need to rely on other people to help me influence strangers in distant lands.+1 star: Functionally works. The ring light is everything I wanted it to be. All parts came in good condition and work as expected. The phone/tablet grips are quite sturdy, too. The tablet holder attachment has a hefty clamp mechanism that will definitely support the weight.+1 star: Come for the ring light, stay for the bonuses. Do I need to hook up TWO phones AND a tablet? No, but does it make me look cool and tech-savvy? Also no, but does it open up possibilities? Not really, because I don't have another phone or a tablet. But it's more than I wanted, and they call that a /deal/ around these parts. (In all seriousness, I can see myself using the tablet holder for note cards!)Also: adorable simple desk tripod has a phone grip that can attach in two places for either vertical or horizontal phone positioning. The legs hold position with tension, allowing for some height flexibility. The selfie ring clip is not something I ever imagined I would own, but I can't lie...the results look great. Finally, the remotes are simple and convenient.+1 star: Detachment from reality unlocked. Watch out, social media! I can now try too hard to be liked in STYLE.
5.0 out of 5 stars Can't put ball joint to tip light
UPDATE: I emailed the email on the instructions sheet with my question and they replied quickly and said they would send me a replacement stand!! Thanks! I've updated my rating to 5.I like everything about the light except we can't figure out how to attach the ball joint between the upright and the light so the light will tip. The connections just don't seem to work. All the pictures and the diagram on the "instructions" sheet show it there, but it doesn't seem to attach. I hope someone might see this review and explain how or point me to a video. Thanks!

DO NOT PURCHASE
Base bends quickly. My product bent during installation and had never been used. Now the base doesnβt stand up straight.
Flimsy
This showed up broken and they never came to pick up the return. Now stuck with a broken ring...kind of defeats the purpose of the stand.
