5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, Beautiful Solution for a Mirror
We had our bathroom remodeled but did not want to spend the money to have the mirror replaced. When the contractor painted the frame, they couldn't remove the blue tape stuck between the mirror and the border. The moulding however covered up everything and it adhered very well to the mirror. You would never know it was an add-on. The adhesive is very strong. Make sure you've got it precisely cut before you apply it. I recommend using a straight edge with an exacto blade for cutting. It makes the task way easier. If you try to readjust the moulding once it has been adhered, it will not stick as well.
5.0 out of 5 stars This stuff is amazing
We wanted to put up a tile trim in a bathroom but hubbie did not want to have to grout it. We had put up the tile and we were thinking of what to trim it out with. I seen this on Bolo and thought we could give it a try. It comes in 10' rolls and I got the white. We unrolled it and let it straightened out before use. I spray painted it in a color to more match the tile colors. My hubby cut it with his table saw.The adhesive was great, stuck and stuck well but allowed us some realignment time. You can not tell that it is not the ceramic trims stripes that you buy at the home improvement store. It's easy, cost effective, attractive, and I highly recommend it.
4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to Use
Looks great and easy to install. Remains to be seen how well the adhesive holds!
5.0 out of 5 stars Measure twice and cut once and be sure your ready to apply
Very realistic looking compared to wood. Viewers really can't tell its not wood. The adhesive is so strong on the back that I may be able to hang from it without it moving and I'm 190 lbs. I was applying it to the top of one wallpaper meeting another. Once on the wall it's over and done. I couldn't budge it which made for some frustration because to my eye it wasn't perfect in the level department. Any span of space it would be much easier with 2 people.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not good for the use I chose
I bought this to use as trim between a ceiling fan and ceiling in one of my guest rooms. It seemed really sticky and I thought it was going to work well. It looked good and I walked out of the room happy with my purchase. I left the fan off for 48+hours and everything still looked good.I had company coming in, so I turned the fan on low and left the room. About 2 hours later, I heard a strange noise upstairs and went up to investigate where I found that the trim had fallen off and gotten flung to the floor by the fan blades. It is nice looking and seems to be excellent quality. I’d say that if you are planning to use it on something static, you’ll be happy with it. Even though my fan didn’t seem to be moving around the beauty ring, perhaps there was movement OR maybe it just doesn’t adhere well to the slick metal surface. Either way, it’s a quality product that just didn’t work for my choice of use.
5.0 out of 5 stars More than met my expectations
I selected this "Flexible Molding Trim" to create a frame for my bathroom mirror. I wasn't sure how it would look. I feared it would appear cheap and unprofessional. To my pleasant surprise it came out looking great! It was however a bit challenging to make it look "finished". I did buy a miter box to use for the frame corners. Also, it took time and patience to cut the sides to the correct length and then to stick them on straight on the mirror and finally to fill in my not so perfect corners with spackling paste. It took me about 2 hours including planning and clean up.I am very pleased.
