5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely what I needed
Have you ever ran into such a first world problem such as not being close enough to a power outlet when you’re not carrying your power strip with you? This cord hands-down solves that problem. It’s durable and I feel that I will definitely get my money’s worth out of this product.
5.0 out of 5 stars As hoped
There are flexible protectors on each end of the wire that can be slid along the wire or removed altogether.
1.0 out of 5 stars Stops charging
I received the cord in July, after 2 months it stopped charging. It will sometimes change to charging but the majority of the time it is not charging my IPad Pro. Poor performance.
5.0 out of 5 stars Charges fast
Works perfectly
5.0 out of 5 stars Cord savers are removable
This is a nice long USBC cable. We’re always fighting over where we can plug in… well no more! The cable has cord saver covers at the ends to help prevent the cable from kinks and wear at the plugs which is great. Sometimes, however, typical cord savers can get in the way. On this cable they will slide out the the way, or be removed entirely! This also means you could use them on a different cable if needed!PROS:Extra long for those times when you need to be away from where it’s plugged in.Removable cord savers.Thick cable should last longer.CONS:It’s really long. If you don’t need 20 feet, or even 15 feet, you’ll be fighting with where to put it all! But that’s not the fault of the cable!
2.0 out of 5 stars Misleading for Macs
The media could not be loaded. With the majority of USB-C cables being 6 or 10ft; this was a perfect offering on the surface. I cannot cast full blame per my lack of research on the issue I encountered; but it only MIGHT HAVE saved me trouble considering good reviews and statements like "COMPATIBLE WITH all MacBook Pro, MacBook Air" in the description. I use a 2021 M1 Max MacBook Pro which can receive a maximum charging wattage of 96W - a power delivery that upon many different Wall outlets, this cable cannot maintain. I realize I fall on a more "niche end" but the apple silicon MacBook Pro Lineup has been out for 2 years now requiring a range of 67W to 140W of power delivery and the majority of configurations at least hitting 96W. I could get this cable to charge with a lower wattage wall outlet of 67W but this would require over 10 hours to charge my battery while using the laptop compared to a little over 2 hours with the original 96W wall plug that came with the laptop that is paradoxically recommended to be used "Please use your original Apple laptop charger or USB C fast charger wall adapter with these USB C cables". If you have a MacBook Air or any base MacBook Pro from the last 7 years, sure you'll be fine but that shouldn't equate to "Compatible with all MacBook Pros". I'm really not one to spend time on reviews and so the ultimate concern is how attempting charging with this cable from my 96W Apple wall plug was not simply ineffective, but dangerous to the computer as it constantly shifted from "battery charging" to "battery not charging". I confirmed everything is working fine and up-to-date on my Mac as well. This along with item descriptions being out right false prompted my review. I really wish it worked because the length and build quality were superb. The description however needs to be adjusted and furthermore include wattage/Amp delivery limitations. As I now understand; this is why a lot of competition states "100w/5A" power delivery, some literally on the cable.
5.0 out of 5 stars Carries data like a champ.
I got this for a really specific and kinda silly reason, I didn't want to move the USB hub on my desk, but I wanted my Steam Deck to have wired internet, when I was in bed. I don't know if it's my particular unit, my router or what, but the Wi-Fi on my Deck is very very bad, borderline useless.Anyway, the good news is this works. Even after going 20 feet from a hub to my Steam Deck, I get Ethernet in bed. Along with charging and everything else the hub normally does. So if you have a similar use in mind: it'll work. If you need it just for simple charging or something, it'll do that too.
1.0 out of 5 stars Going going gone
After one month it’s done. I used this daily but expected more because of other reviewers.
