Very nice looking and feeling knives the ergonomic handle are very comfortable hold and they fit well in both my large hand as well as my wife's smaller hands. The 3CR13 is a very nice steel for kitchen knives, it has decent edge retention it is not the absolute strongest steel you can get for a knife but a very nice steel and it make for future sharpening a lot nicer and faster prosses. All in all me and my wife are very exited to get to use these knives, if looking for a strong comfortable knife that has a similar look and feel to much more expensive knife like Shun or similar knives, your looking at the right set. The box they cam is very handy for beginner and for those who are tying to get a better idea as to witch knife is best for witch situation while cooking, kind of neat addition to the package deal.

Awesome bang for the buck! Really nice set of knives, Comes with a great selection to accomplish almost any task you might need a knife for. Each blade was well made and sharp right out the box, no issues and sharping required. Handles are very comfortable to hold and use.Comes in a greta box and presents well when opening, I think it would make a really nice gift set too.Would buy again.

I needed a replacement set of kitchen knives and decided to give this set a try. They arrived on time, packaged in a nice box.The knives appear to be well made, and are nicely balanced. They came sharpened appropriately and I did not have to sharpen them before use. They are stainless steel for the blade and what appears to be a synthetic material that looks like dark wood. They are nicely polished and smoothly finished.In summary, while these are not top quality professional chef's knives, they are a nicely finished, functional set of knives that would be a great addition to any kitchen.
