This game is great for its intended purpose- to pop the letters/words that match the cards. If that is what you are looking for then this game is perfect, 100% buy it! They are great CVC words and lines up perfectly with the science of reading.As a teacher, I am always looking for ways to use materials in different situations. I was hoping to use these pop-it mats to be able to spell a wide range of words for my students, but the pop-it mats are specifically set up with words to match the cards. This means that the pop-it mat does not necessarily have every letter of the alphabet on it. This makes it nearly impossible to use the pop-it for different purposes.As I said, to play this game with the specific CVC word cards that come with the game- it's great. Just don't expect to be able to use it easily for different activities.

Great to use and play on road trips and at home. Can use the reverse side after pushing the letters down. Fun and easy to use. Keeps my toddler busy and learning.

I ordered this for my four year old who is wanting to learn how to read and she LOVES it. She was already sounding out and recognizing words on the first day we had it. It comes with instructions, a deck of sight word cards, and four high quality pop-its with sight words on each side. This is such a great tool and I wish I had ordered it sooner!

My daughter is a reluctant reader, this has been great practice for CVC words and has been good for my youngest in letter recognition. Great for parents and teachers.
Birthday gift
I bought this for my 4 year old grand nephew's birthday. It's not until September, but I'm sure he'll love it. Seems great for children going into kindergarten and will improve their learning skills.
Fun word game
My students enjoy this word game because of the pop it’s. I enjoy it because it allows my students to decode the word on the card and then locate it on the pop it board. We play it so that whoever pops all the words on their board first wins a sticker or a treat.
Great except for…
Excellent tool to help kids learn their letters and how to read them together! The one thing that bothers me is the style/font of the a on the fidget boards is different than the a on the cards. While that’s not an issue for an adult, it caused some confusion for my 5 year old. For the price I would expect better!
