We love this at our house. We have one in our 3 year olds room and one in our room for our newborn. Super easy to connect to your phone and have different options for sounds, night light, and tracking their sleep. You do have to pay for tracking movement but still great if you don’t have a plan. I love that you can talk through it too and this is all available even when you don’t pay for a plan.

My granddaughter has this monitor and it is great. What I especially love is that you can do picture in picture so you can watch the baby while you are still on your phone. The app is very easy to use and multiple family members can have the same camera on the account so you only need one monitor for many caregivers (parents, grandparents, etc). This will be a standard baby gift going forward.
1.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Worthless and Not Worth the Money
Our camera constantly disconnects from the mount. Everytime we open the app it says disconnected. We have to go wiggle the camera on the stand and it comes back online. It is not stable at all and falls off the mount regularly and we're scared it's going to fall on our babies head. The temperature and humidity setting never works for us. We tried all the tips and tricks Nanit support said to do. Still no luck. Nanit support communication takes days with little to no help so far on our warranty request. They just keep coming back with more questions and telling us it could we a wifi problem which it's not when the camera constantly comes unplugged from the stand. Also the app wouldn't let us proceed until we bought the insights plan due to a glitch. We ended up buying the plan just to find out you can't get insights with the flex stand. What a waste of money this whole Nanit system was. We love the idea of it but either ours is defective or this product is horrible.

2.0 out of 5 stars Connection issues, red alert false alarms, white noise function issue
I wanted to love this product so much after reading reviews and researching different types of baby monitors. However after using it since January I can honestly say I’m extremely disappointed with the issues that we have each and every night. I have high speed internet because of my remote position and I still have terrible connection issues with the Nanit. It cuts in and out every minute. This monitor is no longer reliable for me and my husband because we can never actually monitor our child without it trying to reconnect on and off. It also at least once a night will set off the red alert without my baby being in the crib. I could be rocking my baby back to sleep or feeding and the alarm will go off. It is extremely unreliable and makes me never want to start the monitoring because it startles my baby and will wake him up when this happens unexpectedly. Lastly, the white noise function will cut in and out throughout the night which again defeating the purpose of why we are using the white noise.

I went through FIVE different baby monitors and finally bought the Nanit. It’s truly so amazing I’m able to see my baby or her room from virtually anywhere with the app and can finally sleep in peace without the bright loud typical baby monitor sitting next to me. PLUS I was able to get her first laugh recorded on it and saved to my phone which was so special. Highly recommend if you’re even considering purchasing it!!!

Nanit products are tricky and finicky. They are not easy or quick to configure, which is particularly bothersome if you travel a lot and take it with you, which we do. Every time there is a network change, there's trouble. It will sometimes throw a fit and decide to not work, or be very blurry for a few days. And of course, there's the fact that not only you pay a lot for the camera, but they also bombard you with messages to get you to pay for additional services and subscriptions. The built-in white noise options are not very pleasant, and when you try to speak through it the voice comes in creepy and really scares our daughter, so that's two features we don't use. Despite all this, we love our camera and don't imagine living without it (until we tried a similar one that probably works better, but... why bother) We even gave one as a present to friends who just gave birth, so I guess we nevertheless think very highly of this product.

We liked the experience with our first kid so much, that we got a second one for our second kid. The app is fantastic. My only complaint is the price.
Wildly overpriced, broke after 6 months, awful customer service
TLDR: This is a garbage product. Avoid.I bought this camera with high hopes and even subscribed to their rather expensive analytics service. Heck, I even bought the carrying case!Unfortunately, the temperature sensor only worked about 1 in 10 days and the sleep tracking stuff was totally wrong/useless. The flex stand would disconnect periodically unless I had it propped in a super specific way, which meant that it would just randomly not be working--not a great feature in a baby monitor (!?!).I cancelled my subscription after a month, but was still billed for the year... It still worked as a high quality (if now quiet overpriced) monitor except when the flex stand disconnected randomly, until I tried to bring it on vacation with us. After trying to connect to a new network at vacation rental, the unit just stopped connecting to anythjng. I tried resetting it and nothing happened. I tried calling and was on hold for 1.5 hours before I was played an automated message saying I should email them. I emailed them and I still haven't heard from them after 2 weeks. I am now looking at buying a new monitor. This is an absolute garbage product. Avoid.
No insights
The product description says 1year of insights are included. Turns out they're not...and even if they were, the app don't provide insights if you use the Flexi stand (which is what is included in the box).Poor (misleading?) labelling...the product is NOT what the description says.
Would be nice if it worked all of the time
The product doesn’t work half the time. The camera stand is super flimsy always comes off and doesn’t connect.
The item I received is clearly used
The media could not be loaded. I received a used item… If I wanted a used or an open box item I would’ve purchased it from the marketplace and wouldn’t pay a premium for it!
