This connector works perfectly with the after market C02 tanks for my Soda Stream. The3 connection to the Soda Stream is snug and secure. It works great and helps save money on tanks.

Like most people on here I ordered the wrong fitting tap for the Soda Stream. This adapter works perfectly but slightly different than the original. Just make sure to first take the plastic piece out of the bottom and then the adapter needs to be screwed on snuggly to the bottle top so it will not leak its air. I goofed the first time and then tried to put the bottle in from the side like the one with the original bottle taps and made a big wet mess with lots of hissing air. However, found out quickly that it works great and fits just right if you insert the bottle with adapter already attached from directly underneath the unit and straight up into the tap instead.

I had some of the screw-on cylinders after purchasing a SodaStream DUO. I tried using this adapter. If I screwed it too tightly, the cylinder started releasing gas. If I loosened it so it stopped hissing and put it into the machine, it didn't carbonate the carafe. I fiddled it with and got it to the point where it did carbonate the bottle, but it didn't stop! I had to take the bottle as the gas was still coming out out causing a water spill. So this product is a dud.

I have the new Sodastream requiring bottles from their subscription service.I followed the simple instructions that came with this to easily and quickly modify my existing Sodastream (with a butter knife) and now I enjoy regular Co2 bottles with this adapter.

I upgraded from a Sodastream Jet to an Enso and bought this adapter to convert my 5lb CO2 setup to the new machine. It was an easy install, just screw the adapter onto my existing fitting and pop into the quick connect lever. Carbonates just as well as a small cylinder.

Every thing went together fine. But it just wouldn't work. It looks like the center post is too small. They wouldn't take it back or refund my money.
