I recently bought the Gorilla Grip Office Chair Mat for my carpeted home office, and it's been a solid addition to my setup. First off, the size is perfect for my desk area. The 48x36 dimension gives me plenty of space to move my chair around without worrying about hitting the edge of the mat.One of the best things about this mat is how well it grips the carpet. It stays firmly in place without sliding around, which I’ve had issues within the past with other mats. It does a great job protecting my carpet from the wear and tear of rolling my chair over it every day, and I haven’t noticed any indentations or "divots" forming, which has been a problem with cheaper mats I've used before.The surface is smooth, so my chair rolls easily without any annoying resistance. It really does make moving around much smoother, especially during long work sessions. The semi-transparent design is also a nice touch—it doesn’t clash with my office decor and doesn’t feel overly bulky.Cleaning it is easy too. I just vacuum around it as usual, and the mat itself doesn’t seem to trap dirt or dust.Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s durable, keeps my carpet protected, and makes it easier to move my chair around. Definitely worth the investment if you need a good chair mat for carpeted floors.

I bought a different chair pad from Bolo earlier in the summer. It came rolled up in a box. The instructions were to take out of the box, and leave in the sun to soften and unroll I did, and then placed on the floor in front of my desk. It was terrible. It was so soft, the wheels of my chair made indentations in it and the chair would not roll. I threw it away and bought this on. It was delivered flat, it was thicker, it was rigid, it’s like a piece of glass on the floor. It looks good, and work great.

I had an old floor mat for my office that was used on carpet that I had for years until it finally started cracking. Then I got a thin one that was cheap not realizing the mats are usually rated for the thickness of the pile of your carpet. That thin one I had was terrible. My chair did not roll on it well, and it left deep marks where the chair legs sat. I then purchased this Gorilla Grip office chair mat. It works great. It is sturdy enough that my chair glides over it easily without making any indentations. It did get delivered exactly as you see in the pictures. The Gorilla brand sticker that comes on it is easily removed. The manufacturer (unlike many others) used an adhesive and sticker material that is easily removed without leaving a bunch of residue. The Bolo shipping stickers, on the other hand, were not easy to remove. Not only that, but they stuck one on the side with the carpet spikes that was hard to get off. I don't know why Bolo can't use a more friendly to remove shipping sticker on these. Be prepared to use some Goo-Gone. Other than the shipping sticker issue, the chair mat works greaat.

The dimensions are readily available and I made note of them before placing my order, but once under my desk, it feels slightly too small.On the plus side, this thing is rock solid. When my desk chair and my 300# self roll over it, we roll over it smoothly. it doesn't flex like some other mats. The roll is so smooth it took some getting used to.One other small knock is it doesn't stay put on the carpet in my office particularly well. I think part of that is due to its size and the wheels on my chair pushing it around a bit.

This mat arrives *completely* flat which was a 5 star factor to begin with! (Anyone who has bought rolled up mats will know exactly what I mean..)Very sturdy and stays put beautifully! Chairs roll nicely on it without it feeling too slippery either!!They also obviously understand the importance of STICKERS COMING OFF CLEANLY! lolWe could not be happier with our purchase and do highly recommend this item! : )
