Not too sweet. Soft and chewy. Hits with a wallop of caffein (after a few minutes) and goes great with...You guessed it, a cup of coffee. Great for the times I need to head out of the house but I need something to keep my stomach from rumbling or that late afternoon pick-me-up. I just wish they were a bit more affordable but, who cares... It's my little morning treat.

I was a little skeptical when I was notified that my delivery was help up in customs, but it got here and it wasn't melted or damaged like others mentioned. Overall, it's tasty! I do notice a slight aftertaste that is not the most desirable but I can deal with it. Overall, I would purchase again!

The only protein bars in the One brand I like are these coffee ones: Vanilla Latte and Carmel Macchiato. My favorite is the Vanilla Latte as it is smoother with less crunchy bits. I am decaffeinated in most everything else I eat or drink so I don't have to worry about the 65mgs of caffeine (less than a cup of coffee) with these bars. I have tried 4-5 other flavors of the One Brand and most are: dry, bitter, artificially sweet, and lack taste specially the lemon ones.

The Vanilla Latte flavor is perfect, exactly like a real drink, including the espresso taste. A lot of protein bars tend to taste like cardboard, but this one tastes really good.Warning to buyers: The Caramel Macchiato listing states it will be cold-pack shipped when sold and shipped by Bolo. However, the Vanilla Latte listing does not have this statement. My Vanilla Latte bars arrived OK in summer heat, but I believe they would have easily melted had I not brought in the package as soon as it was delivered.

My beef with most protein bars is how many of them have that... chemical aftertaste, like you know you're munching on a rectangle of whey protein -- not my favorite way to cram more protein in my day. These protein bars, however, have none of that garbage aftertaste. Nice coffee flavor, solid protein count to help squeeze in your macros, and not a bunch of garbage for ingredients. I've been coming back to this flavor, and while they're on the pricier side, they're definitely worth it. 65mg of caffeine is a nice bonus if you want to slam one of these before you head in to your lift session.

Had to choose a star in order to register my review. I ordered this by mistake. Bolo was nice enough to refund me. I considered giving it to someone else but then thought to taste it before I did. It was awful. the only positive was it was chewy and had a good crunchy texture. The taste was vile and am a coffee lover. Yuck..
