If you have an older PC with a hard disk drive, I highly recommend installing this little guy. I got the 2TB and cloned my hard drive onto it.. my PC boots, updates, downloads, and launches on a dime. Even my external speakers connect immediately, whereas before I always had to unplug them and plug them in again before they would be recognized.It was a very easy and affordable upgrade that has greatly improved my PC’s performance and usability.

This thing for the price is a steal. Works great in my ps5. The only thing I did to it was take the already installed thermal pad off and am using this with the sabrant heatsink for the ps5. Stays well cool and is super fast

Speeds are at or faster than the rating on the box, performs very well in Windows. The included thermal padding is adequate but you may have better results using your motherboards NVME heatspreaders if it has them. These drives can run hot under sustained load either way and are pretty close to the absolute maximum you'll be able to get with Gen 4.

Needed to replace a failed drive in my main system. Looked at all kinds of reviews and tests online and hands on testing from people I knew. I had not expected to buy an "Acer" brand NVME drive. However, decided to give it a try. I am pleased. It meets and even exceeds the performance int he more expensive drive it is replacing, with both having similar specs. I have been using it for about a month at the time of this review, so cannot speak to longevity, but will update if something happens.

Pros: Purchased it tonight, installed it and cloned my previous ssd. I used Acronis oem free version as recommended. I like the idea of having the free cloning software. Cloning my old drive was fast and easy.This drive is one of the few that has stand alone dram cache for this price.Cons: It is the impossible to remove heat spreader. I would rather have used the one that comes with my motherboard but did not want to void my warranty trying to rip this one off. Also, It comes with a tiny mounting screw, but without a standoff so what good is that. I used one of the screws that secures the spreader that comes with the motherboard because I did not have the proper standoff available. Keep this in mind when you install this drive. If your motherboard is lacking a pcie mounting standoff, you will need to purchase one.Lastly, drive benchmark is half the speed as advertised. See benchmark pics.Addendum 9/23/24: I originally gave this product 5 stars, but took 2 away because of the mediocre benchmark scores. My motherboard (TUF gaming B550 plus wifi 2) has a m2 pcie 4x4 slot which I installed this drive on. However, my cpu ( AMD Ryzen 7 5700G) decreases the slot to pcie 3x4 while the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X (without graphics) keeps the slot at 4x4. That's why the drive is benchmarking at 1/2 the rate of what it should be benchmarking.It took my a long time to solve this problem. So, in my case, the drive is in the right slot, however, the bottleneck is being caused by the CPU. Since it turns out that the problem has nothing to do with the drive, I am giving the 2 stars back. I'm sure that with the proper conditions, this drive should benchmark at the appropriate speeds.

This SSD is an absolute beast! The load times are insanely fast, and I can't believe how much stuff I can store on it. The 2TB capacity is more than enough for all my videos, and images.One thing I love about this SSD is how fast it decompresses files. It's like magic! I used to have to wait forever for my games to install, but now they're ready to play in no time.The only downside is that the screw was so small and dainty, it looked like it belonged on a dollhouse. I had to whip out my toolbox and get it all sorted. But hey, for the price, I can definitely deal with a little challenge.Overall, I'm so impressed with this product. If you're looking for a top-notch SSD that will take your gaming experience to the next level, I highly recommend the Acer Predator GM7000.

Fast ssd. The original heat sink come with it is not very good. Suggest to change to a metal heat sink to prevent throttling
Buena opción a bajo costo
Después de buscar varios ssd m.2 está se me hizo una de las mejores opciones aunque en este último medio año en lugar de bajar subieron de precio la mayoría este se me hizo el costo beneficio, ya que cuanta con memoria dram y algunos similares no lo tienen incluso el otro de la misma marca gm7, pero al tener poca diferencia en el precio era mejor opción. No es un gama alta como Samsung o western digital, pero es decente la velocidad de escritura y lectura no le pide mucho tampoco al kingston fury y si es más barato por casi $700 u $800 de diferencia, claro dependiendo de los vendedores.
