I was influenced to purchase this product from one of the Board Certified Dermatologists on social media. I forget who it was. My husband had been complaining about an itchy scalp. I saw this product run across my social media feed and thought I’d purchase it for him. He has never told me that he likes it, but he has also stopped complaining about his itchy scalp, so I would call that a win! The product has a nice density, it doesn’t smell bad and seems to do the trick! This is a win!

I’ve used Nizoral since I was a kid. I used to struggle with dandruff for unknown reasons. Maybe because my hair is so very thick, my scalp can’t breathe. It helps with dandruff tremendously, even when used rarely (due to my thick, dry hair, I only wash once a week).However, a great bonus is that Nizoral also helps you keep your hair. The active ingredient, ketoconazole, is a DHT blocker and scrubber, so it can help with hair loss. I struggle with hormone imbalances (I’m female), so I need to keep a DHT blocker around. I do also switch up my routine with average shampoos and charcoal shampoos. But Nizoral is always around.My husband also uses Nizoral. He has no problems with dandruff, but he uses it for clarifying his oily scalp and for its DHT-blocking capabilities.1 star knocked off for sulphates.

I’ve been dealing with Tenia versicolor (TV) for YEARS. The only thing that could really help was going to the derm doc and getting a prescription that would clear it up for 6mo to a 1 year before I was going back. This product smells great and works like an absolute charm. Used as a body wash and shampoo at first, and then only as a shampoo once my skin was clear. My only additional piece of advise if you are using this for TV, dry your hair after showering to help keep it at bay. I’ve been spot free for going on 2 years 😄

I hate using dandruff shampoo but this one gets the job done and it doesn’t feel like you’re using dandruff shampoo. The smell is refreshing and not overwhelming. Myself and others have noticed a dramatic change. I do think it is helping to promote hair growth while keeping my scalp flake free.
