Gotta escape boards period period Mebo. Is the company I found in 2018, I ordered their V-2 from their site period only good things to say about that, still works 2 day and it's been about 6 years period I have put a lot of miles on that board period I have tried the meatball minute 2. And have Seen the videos with mixed reviews. I feel like some of these videos? Can be biased and/or have gotten a weird board, it happens. That's why there is a return policy. Asfar as the mini 5, feels like an upgrade in most ways. The acceleration and breaking are both much smoother. The Mini 2 was more abrupt and the braking was choppy, imo (vs the Mini 5). I have gotten the v2 up to 30 mph. I know this board is capable as stated. I got the Mini 5 regular. I did not need the extended version as I use this mostly for fun and the 30 plus minutes is more than enough. The battery, I'm sure, is a little lower than advertised due to the size of me. The trucks, wheels, concave of the board all very top notch. It is what I expected from Meepo. I can see a beginner getting used to this on the first speed and eventually working up. I can also see an advanced skater handle this board and have a lot of fun. I also tried a belted board from a different company that coat 2x twice the amount and the acceleration and braking was super sketchy and the board super stiff. I would love to eventually try Meepo's belted version. That would be awesome. If your thinking about this Mini 5, it's a MeepoThey continue to make quality products.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality!
I have 3 electric skateboards, and Meepo is the best quality for sure. I like how the mini has a kick tail that increases maneuverability greatly and since you can lift the front wheels you can ride over bumps and off curbs with less risk. It’s super fast, just as fast as my longer ones, and is actually a little scary since it’s so small and you can fall back easily if you have your weight on the tail. Amazing fun, but be careful.I put a stopper for my feet on the front and back to increase stability but not strap me in (which would be very bad if you fall).
5.0 out of 5 stars VERY GOOOOOD BOARD
Well I've had this MEEPO Mini5 electric board for about 2 years and it works amazing. On smooth roads or on a bath path very comfortable riding, not really recommended to on gravel or dirt paths will wear down your battery life faster and it's a hassle to carry back to your destination. If your not use to riding a short board, I don't recommend getting this board it's very fast at it's higher settings, but overall it's an extremely fun board to ride around on.
1.0 out of 5 stars Be aware!!
This Electric skateboard is fast, same way dangerous! The one we had have a malfunction, my son was riding next to me, suddenly the board lock the rear wheels and he was launched on the air, ends up with a broken arm and dislocated shoulder. Could be worse if he wasn’t wearing protective gear. I reported this to Bolo and obviously returned, the company of meepo haven’t contacted us at all. Bolo send me a massage saying “”that item the you returned wasn’t in original condition”” what a joke! So think twice before ordering from Bolo. Go straight to the seller.
4.0 out of 5 stars Board is great, but the wheels SUCK!
I do really like the Meepo Mini 2, BUT I barely have 8 miles on this and already the wheels are starting to shred - In the attached photo, the odometer can be seen on the remote control. The composite that the wheel is made from is WAY too soft. I have a Backfire longboard with at least 10x more miles on it and the wheels look fine. Otherwise, the board is pretty stable for a short board and a blast to ride! Have not had a lot of time to test the battery, but you can see in the photo that after eight miles the board's and the remote's battery lines still have not gone down. Again, I do like the Meepo Mini 2 a lot, but the crappy wheels take away from the experience... so instead of five stars, I have to give it four.I was going to purchase the 100mm wheels by Meepo, but they appear to be made of the same composite as the 90mm wheels that come standard on the Mini 2. So, I will pass. I will keep the Mini 2 and hope that the wheels do not completely get destroyed before Cloudwheels make a compatible set. The Cloudwheels on my Backfireboard made for a slightly better ride, but made it even more stable and able to go over rougher terrain.Overall, I'd still recommend purchasing the Mini 2, but not until better-made, replacement wheels from a different company are available. Also, please consider that I had bought mine during Prime Day so the price was quite a bit less than the usual price (even with the current discount/coupon offer). I'd still buy the Mini 2 at the current price (with coupon and the same caveat about the wheels), but would remove an additional star from the rating for the lower value.
5.0 out of 5 stars amazing but not for the faint of heart!
Extremely fun, I have been skateboarding since the 80’s, a friends kid had one of these at the local skatepark so I tried it and had to get one, I put the wow go 105 wheels on it and it can take the dirt roads like a beast now! It’s very fun and has impressive power, I’m 210lbs and this thing will throw me off if I’m not careful, very cool, very fun, powerful! I ride on the highest setting because I enjoy tempting death!!!! This thing is listed as a beginner model, I would never let my kid ride this on anything past the 2nd speed setting but man it’s fun and yes it will get air over the hips at the park! I’m interested in testing how much abuse this will take, but two hours and six miles in at the skate park and up and down my dirt driveway left me with 20 percent battery life, exceeding my expectations.so far I am very impressed, if the battery life and motors hold out I will be stoked! I have only used it once so far and this review was written the same day, if it doesn't break I would say this is an excellent set up. I will update the review as needed.
Easy Ride

Awesome
Got the board yesterday.... amazing....I haven't rode a skateboard in over 20 years....fun and easy to ride...I have it on power 2... plenty fast for now until I have more practice..... totally impressed....did follow the other reviews and tightened up everything on it and it did need it... recommend this for sure
Doesn't go the distance
Sadly this one doesn't go the km's it said it should. I had one before when they first came out and it was awesome.Sad this one wasn't as good.
Was an amazing product until the battery died within 6 weeks!
I have purchased a few electric skateboards in my life, the Meepo electric scateboard was in my opinion a nice ride, great price point exept for one big issue. The Battery dies very fast, 6 weeks to be accurate. Can not charge the product and turns of immediatly.Im not sure if the batteries die this fast or if it was a defect by Meepo, i will say however after spending almost $600 for a skateboard that died in just over a month that I will never buy a product from them again.Final thought, i had 1 month to ask for a return, two weeks after the battery dies. Kind of makes me wonder if they know this is an issue or not. Overall very upset with the situation would reccomend buying from a better company.
