About this item:
Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Paste is a thick, flexible rubberized sealant paste that clings to multiple surfaces to instantly fill large gaps, cracks & holes. Once applied, the high strength formula smoothly covers the surface tightly sealing out water, air and moisture, resulting in lasting repairs!
GREAT FOR: Wood, glass, tile, concrete, aluminum, metal, brick, stucco, masonry, copper, fabric, fiberglass, ceramic, porcelain, natural stones, roofing, PVC, and more!
DIRECTIONS:
1) Clean surface of dirt, dust, grease and oil.
2) Using putty knife or trowel, apply to the surface. Ensure surface is completely covered and all gaps and holes have been filled.
3) Allow to cure in between coats. Full cure at 24-48 hours.
NOTE: Slight skinning may occur inside can if lid is not sealed tight. If present, remove skinned material to continue use and secure lid immediately after use.
STORAGE: Remove excess product from the rim of can with a dry cloth. Press or lightly tap lid shut to create tight seal.
DRY TIME: Paste begins to cure once exposed to air & moisture and will skin in 15 to 30 minutes. Full cure at 24-48 hours.
CLEAN UP: Wipe up any unwanted material with a dry cloth or paper towel immediately. Use mineral spirits to clean applicators such as putty knife or trowel.

This stuff is like sludge. You can get it on the putty knife and in my case, it is going into concrete cracks to prep the floor for LVP planks. I am sure it does the job of being flexible and waterproof which is what it is supposed to do. It would be nice to have it be a more creamy consistency so you can work with it better and smooth it out without breaking your wrist.

I used this to stop my door frame from leaking. Make sure the area is dry and free from mold before using. I used a small paint scraper to apply it. It takes some practice. Keep some wet wipes handy. Dries fast and works great!

I don't know what the shelf life of this stuff is, but this had more than a quarter inch dry crust all the way around it. It was shaped in the can like a white Hershey kiss, and hard all around. I broke through it to see if any of it was usable, found about a half a cup usable. I didn't get the job finished with such a tiny amount. Not a good value! I use Gorilla glue almost every day and it is the best! Not so with this.

This is reliable paste for outdoor repairs only drawback is that it's basically one use since it won't be usable after the first session due to air hardening. I recommend this and it's a first choice product with good adhesion.

Update 7 Oct 2024: I visited the gorilla tough website and discovered that their email and chat interfaces DO NOT WORK. I made time to call their 800 number and finally reached a rep. The Gorilla Tough rep asked for the number on the bottom of the can, so make sure you can read at least the first 5 digits. Therein, the rep provided me with a very generous credit, wherein, I had my choice of Home Depot, Walmart, or Bolo. He said they would also send an envelope, so I could ship it back to them for examination. The paste is a failure, but when you finally reach a rep, the company makes up for it!I trusted Gorilla Glue products up until now. When I first opened the container, I noticed the product was very stiff. Not knowing the consistency to expect - and trusting the brand from other Gorilla Glue products I've used in the past, I still maintained trust in this "Gorilla Paste" for some reason. Over the course of a month, it became more difficult to use. About 6 weeks later, it was nothing but a hard lump of rubber as you see in the pic. I did manage to use it in a few places wherein it definitely sealed some cracks, but I didn't get my money's worth.

This worked well for sealing a wide crack for me. A couple things to be aware of if you haven't used it before...- It's murder to work with. Super sticky, and doesn't budge easily. Which is what you want, but ffs wear gloves, and use a putty knife you won't mind throwing away- The can comes half full. I'm sure it meets the 1lb net weight as advertised, but it's dense, so if you're eyeballing the can size to decide how much you need, get more.Otherwise, super easy to use, and gets the job done
