5.0 out of 5 stars Ease of installation
I purchased this kit to hide excess wiring from some under-cabinet LED puck light fixtures. I was able to cut this material with a pair of scissors. The channel was big enough to contain and hide the 120V wiring. The wiring is no longer hanging down below the cabinet. It is invisible and held securely out of sight by this raceway. Excellent product! I would definitely use it again.
5.0 out of 5 stars Super easy to use, super sticky
Very easy to use, stuck to the shelf very well, haven’t tried on paint but but that bad. Didn’t have to cut them they were perfect size. But easy to use doesn’t seem impossible to cut them if needed. Looks very nice, looks like nice quality material. And sticks well so I’d recommend.
4.0 out of 5 stars Double stick failing
The double stick tape is failing. it sticks to the baseboard but puling off of the cable track. If you use this. be sure to screw it to the wall. The product looks good, easy to cut and the cover snaps tight. I now have to go back and secure the the job with screws.Follow Up to this. The company stepped up and resolved the situation. They took care of the problem so I would recommend trying this product.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to set up
Very easy to set up and worked perfectly! We were able to get 6-8 cords in it!
5.0 out of 5 stars These work as Advertised
I laid out the plan ahead of time before committing to installation. I used the adhesive option (not the screw method). I like that theses can be painted to match the wall or trim. They assemble very easily and I'd watch the videos a few times prior to jumping into installation. Lay out your project in advance, I started in a corner first and worked my way outward in both directions until I reached my endpoints. But do what is right for your project for best results :) I recommend these.
3.0 out of 5 stars Way cheaper than name brand versions.
But it's cheaper for a reason. The name brand stuff is thicker and heavier, and comes in longer lengths. I have used the name brand in my previous apartment. Before I moved out, I removed the pieces, and the adhesive was so powerful that it ripped some of the paint off the wall. OOPS!!So, since this stuff is lighter weight, I decided to only use about 30% of the sticky tape to hold each piece onto the wall. If I ever have to remove them, hopefully any potential damage will be minimal. What I like about this product is that it is way cheaper, the covers are easier to snap on, and each kit covers 26 feet.BUT, it's all chopped up into approximately 15" increments. I'm sure the reason for that is so that the whole kit could fit in a shorter box. Gotta say, it's a lot easier to line up 2 or 3 four foot pieces straight than it is to line up a dozen 15" pieces. Also, when these 15" pieces were cut, there wasn't a whole lot of care taken to make them all the exact same length, or even square. Seriously China, it's not that hard to set up a repeatable cut on a saw! For most people, this will not be a big deal, since the kit comes with enough little clippy things to cover up the MANY butt joints that happen every 15". But for me, I don't really want to see those. I'm looking for this installation to be as unobtrusive as possible (a little bit of selective OCD). So my solution was to square up both ends of all the pieces (including the covers) on my hobby table saw. Chances are, you'll have to shorten a piece or two anyway. These are thin enough that you could use some shears or a utility knife, but the one piece I used shears on, did crack a little bit. Using a fine tooth saw produces a neater cut (also allowed me to do 45 degree mitered cuts) but since these are made of PVC, it produces a LOT of dust, which has a static charge, which is a pain in the butt. So, my overall take...cheaper than big box store version, PROBABLY just as capable, but more pieces to deal with.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great product
Works great to hide my network cable that has to run around my office walls from the modem to ethernet switch.
5.0 out of 5 stars They are good
They work as advertised. Easy to install and make the cable running look cleaner. Adhesive could be stronger though.
