As far as collections go, this one is quite good. I really appreciate the borders for modern TVs, and the filter options are a nice touch to make sure the game looks good on the big screen. It's also really cool that all the missing content from Battle Network 6 has been restored, and can be played officially in English for the first time. It also includes online multiplayer - not every game needs it, but it's a quality of life improvement that the series needed, now that it's no longer constrained to old hardware.However, this is a warts-and-all re-release - no tweaking, very few other quality of life updates. The games do allow you to access the eReader cards that were Japan-exclusive whenever you want, which is nice and can prevent some softlocks in some games. On launch, there was a way to softlock yourself in the English language version of Battle Network 6, but that's since been patched. So, make sure your game is updated before doing the Battle Network 6 post-game.This game will not fix some of the problems people had with Battle Network 4, or even the clunkiness of the original Battle Network. So, keep that in mind. Regardless, the Battle Network Series is a lot of fun, with some pretty unique mechanics, one that doesn't neatly fit into a genre, but in the best kind of way.

One of my favorite gba series gets another high quality collection treatment from Capcom. Not only did they give the graphics a smooth over they added all the japanese only content, gave the special cards for the last three games that let you change various aspects of megaman or get various in game rewards, as well as a solid online battling element. I haven't messed with that aspect very much but it seems to run pretty well from what I did play. If you missed this game when it came out or played it as a kid and loved it then you won't be dissapointed. There is enough content between the 6 games [they say its 10 but its basically 6] and they added enough qol changes that it feels worth paying full price. If you just want to play against friends and dont care about playing each of the stories I would recommend just getting the second volume and playing Gregar and Falzar they are the most balanced for pvp and are probably the best games other than the third entry. You dont really need to play each of them in order to follow along except for 5 Colonel version does connect to 6 in some ways

The Mega Man Battle Network series is one of my favorites, so I was excited to have a collection of it with new features. I've played through all of the 1st game, and most of the 2nd, and I have been having lots of fun. The battles in these games will test your reflexes, though there is now an option to make battles easier, for those who just want to enjoy the story. I would highly recommend this game to anyone seeking a challenging, but fun, experience.

Loved the heck out of the first game as a kid with Gameboy Advance. Must have fallen off after that as I had no idea they did 9 more of these games! I know they did the Pokemon thing of two games released at the same time with minor differences, but it is amazing they give us 10 games for $40! Other companies with classic GBA or DS games should see Capcoms example.The combat is fun and complex, despite it being a series aimed at kids. There are some tough battles and you have to strategize a little bit! Such an awesome art style.I enjoyed the other Megaman games, it this series might be my favorite incantation of the series.Definitely make sure to get this cart before it goes out of print and for sure get it for a Switch if you have nostalgia for the GBA.

I was really hopeful that Capcom would do a Battle Network collection, following the classic, X and Zero/ZX legacy collections. Thankfully it happened (fingers crossed for a Legends and Star Force collection). This is the best way to experience the BN series.This collection contains both volumes 1 &2. Vol. 1 has Battle Network 1, 2 and both versions of 3. Vol 2. Contains both versions of games 4, 5 and 6. Much needed quality of life improvements have made things so much better, and supposedly the grammatical errors that the BN series has been known for, have been fixed as well.The inclusion of a switchable buster max mode will help cut through some of the more tedious parts in some of the games. This collection includes all of the Japan only content that was removed in other versions. Such as the Boktai cross over side missions, extra bosses and all of the incredibly rare chips and e-reader card gifts.The game is a love letter to Battle Network fans. They even got Mega Man Exe’s voice actor from the English dub of the anime, to reprise the role and be your guide for the main menu between Vols 1 & 2. Included along with the 10 games, are galleries of music, art work, concept art and other promotional art. My only gripe is that Battle Network Chip Challenge, Operate Shooting Star and the DS version of Battle Network 5 is not included with the collection.There’s also online Player vs Player and Chip trading to help fill out the library across all 10 games.There’s also no significant difference in performance in the Switch port compared to other ports.

This collection has Battle Network 1-6, with both versions of each for 3-6+ the (digital) patch cards that used to be JP exclusive. One of the most unique, and fun, RPGs ever made imo. Though 1 does show its age more than others.I know another review mentioned a poor value, but if you buy the collection that has vol 1 and 2, you are getting 10 (total with generation variants) games for $60. That’s like $6/each if they were on the online store as a virtual console title. AND you get the patch cards virtually to be able to use with them. In my opinion, those alone make up any price variance.And the online works! So you can trade and battle your friends!I hope they continue this great trend of legacy collections with a Starforce collection next!

Dunno why it's so expensive then the ps4version but I got it , highly recommended if you can shell out 100$10/10

Product (megaman battle network legacy collection) is being advertised as new. Item I received had already been opened (no factory wrap on the case) - with an LPN sticker applied to the game case.
Works Great on pal switch
I'm an Aussie buyer and I can confirm the games are cross compatible if you are looking to buy. Apparently there can be an issue with updates but for a game like this it does not bother me. Runs well, works great
