5.0 out of 5 stars Works great!!!
Needed something strong, stable and portable for getting patient in wheelchair down 2 steps. This was perfect!!! Easy to set up quickly, relocate quickly and store easily. This ramp was exactly what I was looking for. I have no doubt it will last forever!
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great with my van!
We use this to get my daughter's power chair in the van for transport. We have a 2015 Honda Odyssey, we have one of our captain seats removed to make room. The 5ft ramp is not ADA approved steepness, but works for our purposes. Folds up easy and fits in the van with the chair. Exactly fits the door-way. Is study and doesn't bend under the weight of the chair and me.
5.0 out of 5 stars Strong and versatile
This is a perfect ramp for entryway with wheelchair. Very sturdy and durable. Easy to relocate and great value!
4.0 out of 5 stars Works Well, but...
I had room only for a 4' ramp with a 1' rise. It would be better if I could have used a longer ramp. With the slope I have, a helper to control the wheelchair both down and up the ramp is absolutely necessary. The ramp is well-built and the folding hinges are well placed and operate well. The whole ramp is a bit heavy and somewhat unwieldy (for me, at least). Also, its mounting-lip blocks the sliding screen door, so if you are using the ramp on a slider with a screen door, the screen door cannot be used with the ramp in place. I do want to emphasize, though, that the ramp itself is well-made and does its job. My advice is to buy the longest ramp that will work for you, bearing in mind that weight is a factor.

Sturdy yet portable. Carries the 284 lbs of my husband plus his wheelchair with no issues.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect ramp to set up for elderly and disabled
Love this ramp, it's helped so much. I have elderly parents who are sick as well and this ramp has helped my dad a whole bunch. It's definitely bulky and heavy which is a good thing because it's sturdy and strong. Setting up I can see how an elderly person would have trouble and getting hurt so I only recommend this ramp if they have help with it such as myself. It's solid metal and when you step on it it goes in just slightly at first took us some getting used to but once we did we realized it's not going anywhere and is solid in place. It doesn't slip and I haven't had to readjust it so this has worked just as I needed it to. Great purchase I'm happy with it and best thing about it is I can remove it whenever I need to thank you again
5.0 out of 5 stars Very sturdy
Product would have been wonderful. Had I ordered the correct size? The ramp was very sturdy. Non-slick easy to install.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not a sturdy ramp for permanent install
My wife is being released from rehab this week and I was just made aware that she would require a ramp. This is one of the models the doctors recommended. I paid extra freight to get it here in time for her arrival and to get it screwed down. I have to say I am disappointed. My beautiful wife gained 160 pounds a few years ago due to prescription meds she has to take. They likely saved her life but she is now 300 pounds. This ramp bounces like a springboard with my 200 lb weight, particularly in the middle. I fear that she is going to feel very unstable going up this ramp. If it wasn't critical to have it here for her arrival in a few days I would send this back. I am a retired auto mechanic and I understand that aluminum can bend a long ways without breaking but frankly this ramp is scary. I am going to have to support it in the middle with something.Update: Finished the install. I removed the hinges and bolted the two pieces together. Lost less than on inch in width I think, but really stiffened it up. Had to cut off a little angle at the bottom end of the center brace because it was holding up the ramp 3/4" above the concrete floor. Also cut a 2x4 down to fit under the ramp to add support.I needed a permanent installation and feel this was sorely inadequate before mods. If you are looking for something portable this might be just the thing. It is quite light weight in a four foot model. Please note that on the Bolo page it says it is rated at 600 lbs. When you open the box and read the instructions with it you find out the 600 pounds must be divided between two axles; four wheels. Clearly designed more for wheelchair use than going up it with a walker.Update:Seller was very gracious in understanding my frustrations and refunded me all but the freight.
