When I moved to the USA I lost my small pliers for my piercings, sometimes I need to use it to remove or insert some of the little balls, so I looked for one that could grab something very small. I wanted to change one of my piercings for something smaller and I couldn't remove the balls with my fingers, they kept sliding, I bought two of these, after cleaning them they worked perfectly.

These are great, very sturdy. They do leave imprints on the metal, from the ridges.They are great for holding slippery things, but I had to buy an alternate pair with a flat edge, because they leave indents on the jump rings.
