Very good quality. Will purchase again!

This was my first time making my own sea moss gel. Process was straightforward and the gel came out really well. There was no guidance on how much water to use so I slowly added as I blended and used about 14oz of water for this full bag of product. Very pleased and I would definately continue to make my own sea moss gel for which you get more product and pay half the price. First picture is after I soaked the sea moss for 8 hours. The second is after I blended it with the water. I have since bought this product two more times. The flavor is bland/flavorless and I'm ok with that but we have experimented with flavors and adding about 7to8 1inch size pieces of pinapple has been our favorite and we blend it out to the consistency of apple sauce (using a little more water to get that consistency) and my boyfriend really likes it like that. We eat a tablespoon full every other day for the health benefits and my boyfriends swears it helps ease his digestive issues (I must say I agree).

I chose this one as my first seamoss to try and I like it so far. I rinsed and then soaked the seamoss before adding into a blender to make seamoss gel. It doesn’t seem like a lot of product in the bag but the seamoss definitely expands so much after it has soaked in water so important to add enough water for soaking. I didn’t notice any bad taste and I have already repurchased this.

I’m disappointed with this product because it does not appear to be fresh. Upon arrival, I noticed ashy white patches, along with some darker areas and inconsistencies in texture that are not typical of high-quality sea moss. Despite my initial concerns, I assumed these variations were natural since the product is organic.However, after preparing a batch, I noticed that within a week, the gel developed a white layer on top while refrigerated. Concerned about its safety, I discarded it before taking a photo—something I now regret, as it would have been useful for this review.The package has an expiration date of 05/2025, yet based on my experience, the product seems to have gone bad well before then. While the instructions mention salt in the processing, I don’t believe that’s the cause of these issues, as I thoroughly rinsed the sea moss multiple times after soaking it for over 24 hours.Unfortunately, by the time I realized the problem, the return window had closed. Given these quality concerns, I would not purchase this product again.
