What I did here in the image was a set of 3 tests of my first urine sample (note this isn't the first release of the day), as numbered 1-3. I then did a 4th test to see if the tests would infact detect all proteins in liquid, and not a specific type (ie albumin), and so I used milk as a control. The moment that I dipped the strips into the milk, it turned the darkest green on the scale. So, I'm sure now that the efficacy of these strips are as they claim, 96% accuracy.Even though I'm sure that I don't need to explain why I purchased these, I wanted to test my urine for possible proteinuria-protein in my urine (one of the symptoms of CKD) So, I wanted to rule out CKD as a possible reason as to a certain urine related symptom I've been having. Now I have peace of mind in knowing that there isnt any protein ltesent in my urine. Thank you.Now I have tests for later, If needed.I'll also test first thing in the morning, as well as by using different methods (ie, testing my direct stream) and update if my findings are different than my first test.

So 2 weeks ago I did a routine urinalysis test ordered from my dr. Everything was great except I had protein in my urine. (+1). (Photo number 1). She asked if I had been standing long hours, not drinking enough water? I said yes but she ordered me to do another test. She said to do it early morning right when I wake up to know the true value. I couldn’t do it until 2 weeks after. I was a little concerned so I ordered theses strips. During these two weeks I tested every morning and night. Sometimes negative, sometimes trace. Made me hydrate more for sure! This morning I went to the drs to give a urine sample. Decided to use a test strip too to see the accuracy. (Photo number 2). It was negative and 4 hours later I received the lab results (photo number 3) Also Negative. Just sharing my experience so others can decide but these do work and put my mind at ease until I could do another lab test.

I had to email them for clarification. The sticks are clinical grade, meaning hospitals can depend on their accuracy. Urine should be tested with first void of the day when it is most concentrated. The reading will be most accurate. Once the stick is removed from urine, start timing. 60 seconds. Turn the stick on its edge and tap to knock off excess urine then lay it face up on a couple sheets toilet paper. Continue timing. Compare the stick to the color chart at 60 seconds. Write results down if nec. If you have questions, there is email address and they answer promptly. I will def buy these again. Hope this is helpful.
