I suppose there are TV's with even better resolution, but this one is definitely a step up from my last one and it's hard to believe you could beat it in s similar price range. I don't wall mount it, so the style of the base/legs was important. The inverted V shaped legs are quite stylish. In the past I was using a FireTV stick. I found the transition to the FireTV seamless. When I logged in it automatically installed all the apps from my FireStick. I picked this TV up at Best Buy which even during the holiday was quick and easy. I am extremely happy with the purchase.

First off, I loved that I was contacted by the seller for a 'special' delivery. Because this is an over-sized item, it was hand delivered by Best Buy. Although I needed to set this up myself, it was easy to assemble the legs, and get it set up on my stand. The TV itself has great color, sound, and picture. I easily connected my Fire Stick, and had it set up in no time. My only issue is that I use my former Fire TV as a second monitor for my laptop, and when I turn the 'monitor' on, the TV also comes on. I'm sure there is a fix for this, however, I will have to find that out later; for now I will work with it. For the price of this 55" TV, it can't be beat.

Purchased this for an elderly family member. Its screen quality is great. Easy to navigate. The settings and functionality is self explanatory. I was hesitant to purchase a “non name brand” tv. I’m extremely glad I did as it’s just as good as the name brands for a better price.

I bought this TV on a whim on Christmas Day when the kids were over. My daughter said I needed a new TV, and my son concurred. They were right. My smaller, pretty old Vizio TV was getting dim and acting funny when I powered it up. Since this Toshiba was priced pretty low, I gave it a whirl. A few finger pokes on the ol’ iPhone, and it was on its way. I didn’t even research since the price was low and Toshiba is, as far as I know, a well-respected brand. It is my first experience with a smart TV, or a Fire TV, or Alexa for that matter.It’s been only a couple days, but I am pleased. Setup was easy, as was getting the thing hung on a movable wall-mount.I don’t do cable, but this thing has tons of “live” TV options I didn’t even know I had access to. The TV makes it all easily accessible and streamlines my antenna into all my choices conveniently. I used ROKU on my old TV, and the switch to Fire has been as easy as tic-tac-toe.Streaming Netflix, YouTube, and of course Bolo Prime Video and Music is super easy as well. Voice command makes all of it easier than ever. I feel much more “connected” so far than I did with ROKU, if that makes sense.The picture is very nice: vibrant and bright, though I have seen sharper images on other units. And when watching some shows—something like Wheel of Fortune with acid-trip-level coloration all over the place—the color seems overly rich and a tad cloying and/or overstimulating. That said, this might just be that I had grown used to the dismal brightness and color of my worn-out Vizio. All-in-all, this Toshiba’s picture is very good. I docked a star since I have seen crisper pictures on even larger screen TVs. That might be a tad unfair since those units certainly cost way more.At a hair over two bills, though, I think this 55”Toshiba is an awesome value, and I am glad I bought it. A very big improvement over my 40-something inch, outdated Vizio. Maybe I’ll get another one for the bedroom!

I got a fantastic deal on this excellent TV. The picture quality is stunning. It connects swiftly to Wi-Fi and effortlessly switches between HDMI, DVD, and antenna inputs. It’s lightweight, thin, and has a great design.
1.0 out of 5 stars SO SLOW, WON'T LOAD, BEST BUY SUCKS
UPDATE: UGH!!!!!!!After contacting Bolo customer service and was told I would be issued a refund, Best Buy sent me a message saying it was "against their policy to refund" me. I am not sure what this policy is since I purchased it through Prime with 30 Day return policy. After getting the denial from BB, I reached out to Bolo again and was told I have to wait 48 hours for BB to offer assistance, but I told them they already denied the return request Bolo requested. I was told an additional claims needs to be filed through A-Z refund process which is handled by Bolo, not BB, but I am still not sure how this will work. Is BB saying they do not allow returns for defective merchandise or they just do not allow refunds for merchandise purchased through Bolo? This is a contracted seller with Bolo and based on all of the reviews I have read regarding how BB operates, I do not understand why Bolo continues to work with them. I will never order anything (not even headphones) if BB is involved. AWFUL!I have purchased several TVs on Bolo with great success. This is the first time it was through Best Buy with direct pick up at the store.It should have been a sign it took 2 hours to get the TV set up - which was not an internet connection issue. It would buffer trying to load the apps and even live TV was delayed. I have had Fire TVs and Fire Sticks for years and even when it asked if I wanted to use previous set up it still took forever!Once the setup was “complete” it will take a long time to actually load the show or live TV. Sometimes the screen will just go blank. I’ve tried restarting/rebooting it, unplugging it, rebooting the WiFi, reconnecting the WiFi with no difference.The sort of positive aspects: will turn on quickly (if that’s really a bonus or just an expected feature) and picture quality is decent but not great but again considering the price it’s fine. I had a 7 year old TV that had better picture quality and response time.I’m wondering if this is a refurbished item because it doesn’t make sense it would be this bad. Now I have to hire someone to come back to my house to unmount it and put up a new TV (it won’t be this model for sure!).Again maybe this is an exception but needed to share. Bolo customer service was very helpful which was the saving grace for this situation.
