I purchased this to help keep the humidity reasonable in my Texas apartment. Running the a/c is a lot less effective when it just feels damp and sticky all the time!I've had other dehumidifiers in the past, and I was afraid of it being noisy, and also the size. (It has measurements, of course, but really having it in the room still always seems different).This unit is terrific!Pros:Relatively small, nice and sleek.Pretty quiet, noise is a gentle white noise.Good tank capacity.Love the flap on the top of the tank. Makes it so much easier to empty without spilling. (Comes with a hose, too, if your location works for that).Controls and display are simple and easy to read.Price is great for this size and tier.The only small con for me, which could be a pro for others, is that the colored indicator light on the front is rather bright. It would make a good night-light!Absolutely recommend!

Purchased this little machine to dry out flooded garage. It’s very sturdy, quiet, and easy to use. It has been running continuously since the day it arrived and does a great job. I like that it turns off when the catch tray is full. Gave it four stars because the catch tray is a little difficult to pull out When emptying and has a cover inside that is a nuisance when emptying. Also noticed that the hose needs to be longer and empty into a drain that is lower than the level of the machine. Like a shower rather than a kitchen sink.

I ordered this dehumidifier as I live in Florida and the humidiy in my home pretty much stays above 70%, often higher, which is not a healthy thing. In whatever room I put it in, this dehumidifier keeps the level at around 55%, though you can set it to whatever level is good for you, and is very quiet. Its very easy to move around, also easy to empty the holding tank though there is an option to remove water using an enclosed hose. A good investment to improve your home environment.

Purchased about six months ago and it is one of the best purchases I've made in quite along time.It does make noise but very low on the decibel scale; that is, you can watch TV with the unit nearby and it's not a nuisance. I'm on Phoenix which is touted to be low in humidity and at the end of a summer day with the unit running for most of the day and evening this unit collected a quart or move of water. And, it's simple to empty the canister. Good buy!

This dehumidifier is one of the best things I've ever purchased. I have an old 2 story home and it rids the air of any "musty" odors. I was absolutely amazed at the moisture In my home. My air smells clean and fresh now. During any days of rain, I can empty it 2xs in 24 hours! When I the air is dry, I just unug it!

I live in East Texas and we have been inundated with rain, off the chart humidity, and higher than normal temperatures in late spring 2024. This has created an environment for mold in my house but especially in my bedroom and bath. With the bedroom door closed this unit has been very effective in removing humidity after a thorough cleaning resulting in improved sleep. Mold is gross and a health hazard but the mold is gone in my bedroom and others rooms because the high humidity levels have been reduced by this unit even with continued rain. This unit is not big enough for a whole house but it can be moved to do sections of a house over the course of a few days without going broke buying a larger unit. I cannot be more pleased and with proper maintenance of the unit I am confident it will last for some time. Yes, this unit makes noise when running at its highest fan speed. But, it gets the moisture out and that is more important than living in silence with mold. You will be surprised how much water this small unit can remove after two hours. So, run it before going to bed, set the timer and go on with life.
