5.0 out of 5 stars Great!
"I recently purchased the Acer ES Series 5 Electric Scooter, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This scooter has exceeded all my expectations in terms of performance, quality, and overall value.Firstly, the 350W motor provides plenty of power, allowing me to easily reach speeds of up to 15.5MPH. Whether I'm commuting to work or running errands around town, the scooter effortlessly tackles inclines and hills, providing a smooth and enjoyable ride every time. The impressive 37.2-mile range is another standout feature of this scooter. With a single charge, I can travel long distances without having to worry about running out of battery. It's incredibly convenient and allows me to explore more of my city without constantly needing to recharge. The 10” inflatable foam tires offer excellent traction and stability, even on uneven or rough terrain. I feel confident riding this scooter in various conditions, knowing that it can handle whatever obstacles come my way. Additionally, the front electronic brake and rear disc brake provide reliable stopping power, enhancing safety during my rides.Furthermore, the scooter's build quality is top-notch. It feels sturdy and durable, yet lightweight enough for easy maneuverability. The folding mechanism is convenient for storage and transportation, making it ideal for city living.Overall, I highly recommend the Acer ES Series 5 Electric Scooter to anyone in the market for a high-performance and reliable eScooter commuter. It's perfect for adults looking for a convenient and eco-friendly mode of transportation, and it has truly enhanced my daily commute and outdoor adventures."
4.0 out of 5 stars Series 2 not the best
To start I am 250 lbs and my partner who is the primary user is 350 lbs so take what I say with a grain of salt as we're both over the weight limit. The engine often dies or struggles even on flat terrain. This is with both of us roughly equally. The latch is not easy to use in he begining. It can get stuck and if you don't take prior time to inspect it you may not figure it out especially if your in a hurry.Getting around it works nice when it actually runs which is most of the time. It climbs hills, just not well and not without assistance from pushing like it was a regular scooter. For the price we paid we love it and I might get one for myself as wellIf your looking for a good scooter to get you place to place and you weight more than 170 I don't recommend but if like us you use it to take you to a bus stop or shirt trips to the local conscience store and you don't have a ton urgency id recommend. It's a basic upgrade from my no engine push scooter and alot better for my partner then walking up the hill and all the way to the stop.SummarizeGood for the price, not great for larger people. Does the basic job and sometimes needs assistance.
3.0 out of 5 stars Fun to get around!
A really fun way to get around your neighborhood. Comes in three speeds with a max of 15, I got it to. Going up a hill I didn't get it above 10. The brakes work great and so does the light in the front. The reflectors on the back and around both tires are nice for safety. The battery is easy to charge with the cord included. The scooter is collapsible which has been great for storage in my house. I will say that it is a little heavy but carrying really is no problem. The grips on the handles are high quality and really easy to keep your hands on. As for setting up, you only have to tighten 4 screws which are included. This scooter is a fun way to avoid traffic and get around town.update: After using a few times, my cord will not fit in the charger. It keeps falling out. I can't get a hold of the Acer either. I need a new cord for this scooter. Very disappointing.
1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed :(
Came with wire complete severed and electrical tape on part of it. Front plate was broken off. Very disappointing
2.0 out of 5 stars Just ok.
As I opened the box I was really excited for this scooter but putting it together only 3 of the 4 screws could be put in all way. Mine also won't fold and was incredibly hard to get the folding latch on, lots of push force was used & the latch won't come undoneBesides that the scooter rides at 15 mph and not the best up hill. The scooters ride times says it's 18.5 range, but it is not. It seems to die after 12 miles. Charging is easy but what's most frustrating is after 20 mins of riding the throttle won't bite and won't accelerate until I shut it down for up to 5-8 minutesFor reference I'm 5'3 &130 lbs. Thus scooter was to use for me to get to work on my own while saving for a car.. but it seems this one wasn't the one.
