This is a great on-the-go container for keeping foods either hot or cold throughout the workday. I'll heat food (usually homemade soup) until piping hot (in a separate bowl of course, don't ever microwave this or other steel!) and then put it into this container. From 5am to 2pm, the temperature is still hotter than warm, which is great when I don't have access to a microwave. I also use this for cold food as well, like cold melons, tuna salad, or chicken salad. I'd say it does the best job keeping food cold, since you can refrigerate the entire container overnight. The wide opening makes it easy to use, it's dishwasher safe (I always put mine on the top rack), and it's so sturdy it could survive an apocalypse. The lid's seal is also so good that it will basically ferment whatever is inside! I accidentally left watermelon in it for 2 days, and when I had to pry the lid off, it popped and the watermelon inside had become super fizzy. Crazy! Definitely don't forget food inside it if you're leaving it out all day at room temp! Since this thing is good forever, I'd say it's an amazing value and very functional for the daily grind.To visualize how much it can hold based on what I fill it with:• about 2 cups of soup• a whole can of tuna• a cereal bowl's worth of hot oats• probably half a cup or more of chopped melons, as long as it's chopped bite-size and not in chunks like the grocery store has it• around 1 cup of grapes

This is well made and great for hot and cold lunches. Wont fit pounds of mac n cheese but it is enough for a few servings of food. Extra points from my teen that it looks cool

What a great size thermos for my teenage working boys. The wide mouth allows them to take more than soup or hot liquids for lunch. They clean up real nice, if handwashing. And I love that they can go into the dishwasher. I bought 2 of the Stanley classic green and a black one. The classic green is my favorite, it has a nice texture, the black is a sooth texture.

This Stanley isn’t the one I wanted to purchase. Of course the one I want isn’t available, so I got it anyway. Did not keep my soap hot until lunch, lukewarm. For the price I was hoping it would be better.

We love this product, we have used it every day this week in our daughter’s lunch for school and it keeps the food warm and does not leak, which was a big concern!Our daughter has a lot of orthodontic work being done in her mouth, so soups, rice and soft foods.

Llevo usándolo unos días y mantiene la temperatura de mis alimentos, hasta ahora no he tenido ningún inconveniente, no se derrama ningún líquido y es obvio que por la presión que genera el vapor caliente va a costar un poco de trabajo abrir pero nada del otro mundo, lo volvería a pedir ! Si dudabas en comprarlo esta es tu señal para pedirlo!!!

Bought this when I was bringing in home-made food to the hospital for my husband to encourage him to eat. This was just the right size for soup portion allowing it to stay really hot for the time it had to be in there. There was room for crackers to be added too. It is durable in design.
