Product works as described. I'm using on an UnRaid setup. Be sure to properly seat both cables going into the card. I had one that totally looked plugged in but wasn't and so I couldn't see the drives until I pushed it just a bit further.

This installed easily and with the included connectors I've been able to get all my drives up and running. Read/Write Speeds are also very good with drives connected to this device.

Quick, painless, and simple. Worked straight out of the box, nothing needed. I made a rookie mistake and forgot SAS drives don’t work with Sata without a logic board like this.It arrived sooner than expected thankfully, cables look quite fancy but suspiciously delicate at first glance. They are however doctored up in some cable management sleeves and electrical tape, likely better then I’d ever do myself honestly.I only have 5 disks in my pool so far and I plan on populating more as I can afford it. All drives read on first post, then tested the unused ones later to ensure none of them were a dud. Everything works as expected at first glance and will update in the future months coming for better or worse.

The card is very unstable. Disks frequently disconnect and I experience many communication failures.It's not the disks that are at fault, it's the controller. The disk SMART tests pass and if I swop out the controller and just use my motherboards sata ports everything works fine.

Worked on TrueNAS Core 23
Has no issues installing this card to allow access to my SAS drives. It was plug and play and had the IT firmware installed which means no RAID on the card it just passes the drives through to the OS

I used this when setting up a new Proxmox server. Works with kernel 6.12.
No issues for TrueNas system
Was picked up without issue by TrueNas Scale on desktop grade hardware. Being used to drive a pool of SSD disks. So far, so good.
