I bought this in the dead of winter when it was super inexpensive. I live in an older, updated home, with central air that even with a new central air unit, wasn't getting my bedroom cold enough for me to comfortably sleep. I'm a menopausal woman and need COLD to sleep. I bought this so I could just cool my bedroom at night, instead of dropping the whole house into artic temps. My plan has worked beautifully! Keeps my 12x17 room (angled low ceilings) nice and chilly for me to sleep. It doesn't take up too much floor space, but you'll need space next to it for a bucket for the drain hose. I use a 3 gallon Libman mop bucket and that will easily hold one night of humidity it pulls out of the air in the room on even the most humid days here in Wisconsin a little ways off of Lake Michigan. Every day I just take the bucket down to my outdoor plants and water them, for some reason they seem to love that water over being watered with a hose? It's also nice because I can easily wheel it into a closet -even on plush carpet) for storage during the winter months. Also love that it came with all the necessary attachments to make setting it up easy and quick.

The air conditioner was a splurge to see if it could help cool down my uninsulated office. I have vertical sliding windows so I couldn't do a regular air conditioner. I was hesitant at first because the portable unit s I've had in the past were HUGE and heavy.This unit is much. more compact than others that I've seen and the setup took 5 minutes. It took longer to unpack it than it did to install it actually. Very simple and straightforward and the operation of the unit is also very simple.It takes a minute or two to start blowing cool air. At first I thought it wasn't working but as it went on longer it was a slow and steady cooling. keep my office (about 300 square feet) nice and cool. Great buy for the price.

Use for a enlarge bedroom keeps room very cool, love that it's quiet so we're able to sleep with it on, it's everything that it said it would be doesn't take up that much space and was very easy to assemble would definitely recommend this unit

So I live in a very old home, and I probably need a new air conditioning unit because my guest room does not cool off like the rest of the house. I decided to buy this for that guest room so our visitors can be comfortable. It does the job! It cools that room and my living room which is 20x40. Not overly loud, cools quickly, shuts on and off, easily fits in the window. It does put a dent in the electric bill but so would a window unit. At least this has wheels and stand upright making it easy to store in the closet. Couldn’t be any easier. Cost is about the same as the rest of the units this size. Easy to operate and has a remote so you can adjust the temp while you are laying on your couch!

This a/c unit arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. The unit isn't too heavy so I was able to 'walk it' up our steps to the second floor where we live. I'm 71 years old. The instructions were easy to understand and I had it operating in less than 30 minutes. We live in an old commercial building and we wanted a unit we could move 'room to room' depending on what we needed to cool. We also have tall ceilings - 11 feet. The unit cools very well in a closed room - doors shut, etc. It's didn't work as well in our open kitchen/dining area. Make sure to have a large bucket for the water that comes off the unit. We are very pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend this unit. I also like the noise level to sleep by. Great price too!

For many years, I have used a water/ice cooler in my bedroom at night. I like to have my bedroom somewhere between 68 and 62 degrees when I sleep. The ice cooler was just not able to cool the room to where I was comfortable. I live in an HOA and window AC units are not allowed. I finally decided to purchase a portable AC unit and I am thankful that I did. This unit is perfect and it keeps my bedroom around 62 degrees while I am sleeping. When the fan is on high, it is a bit too loud while I am sleeping, so I keep the fan on low. Other than that, this AC unit is exactly what I was searching for. Easy to set up. I like that it can be moved around the room. The part that gets put in the window is not very visible from the outside and that is a plus due to living in an HOA.

This product was ideal for cooling a master bedroom. It worked really well and I liked the different options, such as setting the different times you want it to stay on, the adjustable vents and everything can be controlled from a remote. If you have a jealousy type window or one that opens out, it poses a challenge, but with a little diy application it can work. Overall I was very satisfied with the performance of the unit.
