5.0 out of 5 stars Good sturdy wine racks
I bought 2 of these for a little wine cellar under the stairs in the basement. They even look nice for when we open the door to the cellar under the stairs. As others have mentioned larger bottles only fit in the top row. I don't feel it's all Pinot noir bottles as some I can put in lower racks, but definitely champagne bottles have to go in the top rack. Since I have 2 units, it works out okay for me, but I could see it being an issue if you have lots of large bottles.I do really like that there is a solid shelf on top and using that for odd shaped bottles or other bar related items. It's fairly simple to put together but does take a little time because there are over 50 screws to put in place and they are sturdy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice product, approved by my son-in-law
The wine rack easily holds 56 wine bottles securely with the tops lower than the bottoms. This keeps the corks wet as recommended by experts. The rack is attractive. However, putting the pieces together requires using Allen wrenches. I was only able to complete the job after buying a set of Allen wrenches that provided the opportunity to use the body of the set to get an adequate grip to make it easy to drive the screws in.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Wine Rack
Nice wine rack and very stable. It have great quality. The color is nice and smooth. I installed it easy and fast. It very save place and pretty. Also the bottom of the wine rack is not scratching the floor too.The box was delivery in nice condition. Not expensive, I feel it is great price.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good wine rack for the price
Nice wine rack for the price. Looks good, with quality finish on the metal ends and wood racks. Note though, NW/Oregon Pinot bottles don’t fit, openings are too small.
5.0 out of 5 stars Wood and metal wine rack
This wine rack looks more expensive than what I paid for the product. It fits most wine bottles but you can only use the top rack for champagne bottles. The Allen wrenches they gave to put the pieces together were not practical. I suggest using a drill. Assembly was very easy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very Sturdy. Absolutely beautiful
This is a great wine rack. Definitely worth the money. Looking forward to using it. Lots of screws - instead of using the Allen wrench we used the drill with Allen wrench bit. It went much quicker.
1.0 out of 5 stars Looks good but doesn't hold the bottles securely
First it was a bit of a pain to put together. Not complicated, just a pain. The screws were fastened using an allen wrench, which isn't bad. But the seat of the screw is shallow, so the wrench kept slipping out. On top of that the wrench was made from a soft metal, so I wasn't even half way through before it was stripped. Luckily I had a better quality one and was able to use it to complete assembly. Once together is looked great, very nice. I started putting bottles in it at the bottom, thankfully. They immediately fell out. Not just one but 4 or 5 at a time. After a couple of tries I gave up and asked for a return.
2.0 out of 5 stars Does not fit all size bottles of wine.
The wine rack looks nice and was reasonably decent quality construction. Unfortunately, it will only accommodate standard Cabernet style bottle sizes. Pinot Noir’s and white wine bottles that are wider will not fit.
