5.0 out of 5 stars Love this thing!
Gotta say, I'm really happy with this purchase. I like that it's basic; I don't have a need for an end-of-the-world battleship workbench. I just wanted something for my (large and heavy) drill press, a vice, and some space to work. This unit came next-day, and it's clear the manufacturer has responded to feedback here on Bolo; the packaging was excellent, and they had (temporarily) bolted the rear brace onto the desktop to keep it from flexing in transit, and inserted bolts into the legs to keep them together. It assembled VERY easily, and there was QTY (1) extra of every screw and bolt, just in case. Note that some of the screws you need are being used in the temporary locking of components during shipment; you'll need to take them out to use them where they belong, but it's pretty obvious and not hard at all. As others have mentioned, use your own "real" tools - you'll need a 14mm and 17mm wrench or socket, or any miscellaneous adjustable wrench. Assembly was super easy - dare I say fun? What I like most about it: It looks great, with a no-nonsense industrial feel that isn't overdone; I love the adjustable height AND the VERY STABLE and HIGHLY ADJUSTABLE rubber feet. I wish every piece of work furniture had these feet! And, it's light enough that I can move it around easily. I wouldn't choose the castor version myself; it's easy enough to move when it's unloaded, and I prefer the stability of those giant feet. And of course the built-in power strip is a HUGE win.At this price, I'm probably going to buy another one, maybe two. It's nice enough to be a work desk in an office or at home if you like industrial chic, which I do.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great work table
Arrived exactly as described. Easy to assemble and electrical strip works like a charm. The wood is solid and great quality. Love the pull out drawer. Using this for making jewelry. The only thing I would change is making the plug in component a separate piece. It is locked in to a specific side. Get an extension cord if your outlet is opposite. It’s left side of table.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good for price, not fantastic
Bought this to get other projects running as ran out of time to build woodworking bench - no illusions this is anything like sturdy enough for woodworking or anything else that needs a sturdy solid bench.Height adjustment is nice, not seamless as 2 hand driven bolts on each leg in about 1 1/2 inch increments. I am 6 ft and highest level is just high enough to work with tools at. Shorter than 6ft people rejoice! Taller than me should skip this. One (non critical) bolt will not sink without cross threading. Annoying but as I said in my case non critical. I will look at that another day. They did provide a spare bolt of each size and a couple of spare washers.Grab your own 14 and 17mm wrench (or sockets with a small extension may be helpful) rather than try using the short hand cutter supplied.Power outlets are fixed on one side. No drama for me but if you want on left hand side as you face the front then find another solution.Feet seem sturdy enough and it's not so bad it flexes or anything when assembledThe 11/16 inch thick worktop measured at 23 9/16 x 47 3/16 so if a 2 ft x 4 ft exact worktop is important then you might want to look else or attach a piece of sacrificial mdf/plywood over the thin worktop.Overall this would be great for a children's homework table, craft table or similar. Workshop use limited to assembly and light duty only. No way would you mount a vice or something to this.EDIT: seller reached out to me and refunded cost of purchase without needing to return item. So upped from 3 to 4 star review for customer service.
5.0 out of 5 stars Quality table/workbench
I got this to use with my co2 laser because the size was right. It’s easy to put together, sturdy, functions as it should. All parts were included. The power strip makes using my laser so much easier because I can flip a switch and turn off all components.
1.0 out of 5 stars Not as strong as described
I bought this bench for my garage. I put car parts on it and tried to role the table to the other side and the leg pulled from the table and collapsed on one side. The table fell and all my parts hit the ground. The table was all the on the lowest position and was not top heavy. Wheels didn't role well and I think that's partially why it collapsed. Only had about 100lbs total weight on the table. It is a nice table but keeping it stationary is best for it. The legs seem strong but it needs cross supports. Overall not a great purchase for me. The finish and color were nice though.
5.0 out of 5 stars 48” adjustable table is good
pretty good item, adjustable, sturdy, nice finish.the wheels have a small divot in them that looks like it’s from when they molded them, it causes them to clunk when you roll it across the floor. Not a big deal, but kinda aggravating like a rock stuck in a skateboard wheel.
5.0 out of 5 stars Hardware hidden in leg supports!
Be sure to. Check the leg supports for the big bolts needed to secure the top. Easy assembly, good instructions. Nice sturdy bench!
3.0 out of 5 stars Could be sturdier with modifications
Bought this for my new table saw and bench vise, for which it works great. The biggest issue was that the holes for the back plate do not align, and trying to get it to align resulted in two bolts bending and they can't be removed. This means I can't move it outside in the spring/summer to do woodwork - the whole reason I purchased this. If I attempt to roll it, the wheels get caught in the gutter cuts in my garage floor and won't budge unless I lift that end. The surface is great, but the frame needs something added to make this a more reliable workbench that is worth its value. Not very sturdy in its present condition or easy to use. There were no missing parts, so that was good.
