    My husband loves these carving set. Knives are secure and sharp. It comes with a Kevlar glove to prevent cutting yourself. I wish the manufacturer could rewrite the instructions. Making it not a suggestion to wear the glove, but a law. LolMy man too smart for carving mittens! Lol😵

    These knives are sharp and I would suggest using the gloves that are included. I love the curved bladed knife for shaping or smoothing out any marks left by the other knives. Great value for the money, they preform great.

    I'm rating this as a 4 star because it did not have any type of instructions on what each item is or how to use them. As it states that this is for beginners, I would've expected something to help the beginner understand what they have. However, my son did love the gift and is eager (and determined enough) to learn what each item is, what it's best used for, and how to best use them, so I'm sure he'll have it figured out in no time. Plus, he's happy with it!
