I purchased this set to be a sacrificial collection to practice various knife sharpening techniques. Well forget that. I am not going to deliberately damage these knives to practice repair techniques. These knives are balanced, sharp and look nice. The base alone is worth what I paid for the whole set. Which by the way this holder stores the knives without touching the blades.The only thing I cannot report on is longevity. I don’t know often they will need sharpening. My guess is probably no more often that my existing set.

The media could not be loaded. Heavy, sharp, and they fit my esthetic. 🤍These are great for the price since it comes with a variety of knives. I did have a few minor scratches on two, but nothing that is an inconvenience or too noticeable.I love these already and I haven’t used them. After unboxing, I hand washed them and dried it off before assembling.

Best knife set for the money I’ve found so far. These went in a guest house where we cook, but not too often, so they don’t require the performance of $300 knife sets. You can store them fanned open or closed, and I think they add a touch of class to my countertops. I’ve only used them a few times so far, but they are certainly sharp, and clean up nicely. I don’t put these in the dishwasher. Great set

I like the feel of the knives, looks nice. The holder is flimsy but looks cute. The scissors are terrible.. sharp, sure, but they’re uncomfortable on my fingers there’s no rubber grip and if you clamp them too hard the handles overlap each other 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻. I’ve put knives in the dishwasher and they’re okay but I’m going to hand wash and dry from now on since I’ve noticed some rust on the blade. Luckily I was able to scrub it off. Overall 4 stars because the knives are good for the price and are easily sharpened with a good stone 😃

I rated 3 stars because the stand isn't sturdy at all. The knives were originally very sharp of course I know after time knives become dull and it did come with a knife sharpener. However, they go dull so fast and the knife sharpener definitely doesn't sharpen them like it should. As far as looks, it is pretty, the marble looks so elegant. So far they have withstood a lot of cleaning and washing and the handle hasn't faded or anything like that.

I love this knife set. It comes with everything you could need from smaller knives to large ones as well as kitchen scissors. Handwash and dry these as they are prone to rusting.

Thankfully I remembered that I like nice things that stand the test of time, and as soon as I opened the box I knew I'd made the right decision to opt for this sleak and stylish collection.These look and feel (to me as a definitely amateur cook) like a professional set of knives. I love that they are all one piece - a feature that I struggled to find elsewhere within my budget. They are super sharp and just feel good to hold and use - I suppose this is what is meant when the pros talk about the weight or balance of a knife. I was a little apprehensive that they would be slippery but this was (thankfully) unfounded, as I am enough of a risk in the kitchen as it is!My next job will be to get one of those magnetic strips to go on the wall, so I can show off my lovely new knives and feel epic every time I select one and it makes a sound like a sword being unsheathed as I pull it from the wall.Assuming they don't let me down on the sword-like sound effects, these really are great knives at great price that I'd definitely recommend.
Extremely Light but razor sharp
An inital issue with the knives being a little too sharp and so they would snag on the meat. Took them for a trial run on a rare steak first of all and they struggled to cut due to being too sharp. Second meal once they'd been used and that freshness taken off them, they were grand and handled the medium-rare steaks a treat. Even worked well on the tough ol' well-done steak.Very light to hold, surprisingly so even. Nice that they come with a plastic tip protector to prevent stabbing yourself of the wooden draws where they are stored. Would probably be better storing them in a wooden knife block to keep them at their best, but just chucked in the kitchen drawer works fine too.Got a family member that struggles to hold cutlery due to a disability and they are really liking these steak knives to hold compared to our 12 year old ones that have been through it and a little smaller.The butt of the knife is relatively wide and its more like holding a marker pen than a piece of cutlery.Definitely recommend, and even more so at the £12.74 we paid for them.
Great knife set!
The reason for a four out of five was due to the poor plastic holder. The knives are surprisingly great! The holder is made out of cheap plastic. I would have paid more for a more durable holder.
