I am reliant on a Rollator walker and have a small stepdown of 2 1/2 “ to go into a hallway to my laundry room, dish pantry, and den. I had to stop and pick up my walker each trip up and down, and had talked to three different carpenters about building me a little ramp. No one would take the project on. Then I thought of buying something already prefabbed. I researched the options and found this! It is absolutely perfect and makes my life so much easier! It is sturdy and only required taking it out of the box and putting it down in the floor. It has ridges so I do not feel like I will slip down. It is the PERFECT solution for my needs.

My fiance was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer a year ago at 36yo, so she's now in a wheelchair. I've had to modify our home to make life easier for her. One of those things was the front door threshold. She was having a hard time getting over it in her wheelchair. The bump would make the chair turn off course and slam into the doorframe and it would jostle her uncomfortably. Because of that she hardly ever left the house unless it was mandatory, like an appointment or something. I initially tried using a wooden trim piece that was wedge shaped, but her chair chewed it up just a few times going over it and it still made her chair jerk pretty harshly. Then after some research I found this rubber ramp, and it's been amazing. The transition over the threshold is significantly smoother and she no longer feels any discomfort when going over it. She gets out of the house a lot more now. This little rubber ramp has given her more freedom and has improved her quality of life in a way I never expected. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this. It's funny how little things like this end up having a massive impact on the quality of people's lives.

This ramp is awesome! It is perfect for getting a wheelchair over a threshold. Wish we would have gotten it sooner. Would definitely recommend.
4.0 out of 5 stars Study & grippy, but STINKY and expensive
For a slice of rubber, this seems pretty steep pricing ($50 + for the 1.4") and it stunk really bad out of the packaging, so I had to leave it out on my back porch for a couple WEEKS before I could stand to have it inside my house. Hosing it off may also help get the smell down faster. Even the cardboard and plastic wrap it came in was permanently rubber scented.Functionality is great, however, and the texture on top is nice and grippy. I actually used this for some DIY wooden car ramps that I built out of 2x8 wood planks, and use slices of this to make the transitions smoother. If I can drive my car on these, you can roll a wheelchair over it.

The ramp was received on time and packaged well. We ordered this ramp to cure an uneven threshold which was a tripping hazard. It fits perfectly and seamlessly. We have had several heavy rain and wind storms since placing it down and it hasn't budged a bit. We highly recommend it.

This works great for our needs. It does have a very strong smell though. It was needed to make entrance from garage into the house wheelchair accessible.
